Welcome to the 4th Annual Handmade Holidays Blog Hop! A few years ago we were looking online for handmade gift ideas and thought it would be great if there was a resource dedicated JUST to handmade gift ideas. Enter the Handmade Holidays hop! We've gathered over 100 of our creative blogger friends in the craft industry as well as some of our fellow product manufacturers to bring you a plethora of inspiring gift ideas you can make now to give to your friends, family, and colleagues. Pin and bookmark these ideas for this holiday season and to use throughout the year! Each day of the hop features approximately 30 gift projects and you can "hop" from one blog to another to check them all out.
Thanks for stopping by, my handmade holiday gift is a charm bracelet for my teenage God-Daughter. I used Pink and Main's Alpha Tab stamp set, Ice Resin, and Media Mixage bezels. Here is a photo of the additional items you will need:
I created four charms using Pink and Main's Alpha Tab stamp set. I used a solvent ink to stamp on metal; using sharp scissors cut the stamped image, punched a hole and attached a jump ring. Stamping on a slick surface like metal can be tricky, press down carefully for a soft landing.
I poured the Ice Resin into a mixing cup and followed the instructions on the package. Make sure you use in a well ventilated area. I added the charms into the bezel and poured the Ice Resin slowly, don't top off.
I also added a glitter to the first batch of Ice Resin, but opted for the clear bezel instead. I will use the glitter bezel for a necklace.
Place the bezels on a leveled flat surface and allow 24 hours to cure.
And here is the charm bracelet for my God-Daughter Dulce. I included charms of things she loves; music, playing the piano, she loves baking and cookies and because she's a hashtag queen, I attached those charms too.
