Sketch Challenge with #DCWV
I used DCWV Hey Sailor stack, one of my favorites and totally need a back up stack. The photos are of my husband taken a couple of years ago at the USS Midway in San Diego. I created the "Hey Sailer" cutting file and used DCWV Foiled Cardstock Stack.
Here are the sketches, I hope you join us.
Birthday Celebration
There are NEW DCWV DIY Project Stacks coming to your Joann's soon!!!
I used the DIY Project Stack Birthday and DIY Project Stack Banners to decorate my God-Daughter's birthday pool party. This stack includes templates and easy instructions to create rosettes.
Here is the photo of the treat table.
I created the milk cartons from the DIY Birthday Stack. They were easy to create with the template provided. I used Scor Tape to assemble and seal them. I stamped "happy birthday" using Pink and Main's birthday stamp set.
I used one of the birthday pattern paper to create the insert of the marquee letter.
Here are additional banners over the buffet table.
The party decorations were easy and fast to put together. Unfortunately, the party got postponed due to the thunderstorm that rolled in late Friday night. No complains here as we need the rain in drought stricken California.
[Most product used were provided as editorial samples by DCWV, Inc. All ideas and opinions are my own.]

May your coffee BE STRONG #LatinaCrafter
Happy Tuesday, today I'm sharing a quick gift tag to spruce up a Kraft gift bag. I first embossed the tag with Craftwell's wood grain folder. I gathered up some scraps and started layering. I then stamped the sentiment using the "May your coffee" stamp set and adhered it to the tag. I found the perfect green flower button in my craft basket. I additionally included the coffee bitty button.
And there you have it. So what's in the bag you ask? A coffee mug and coffee of course.
Thank you for visiting today.

Christmas in July Hop with Latina Crafter
Merry Christmas! I know it's too soon, but it will be here before you know it.
We are hopping today with Latina Crafter and I'm your second stop. Please visit LC's blog for all the prize information. Now let's get to it.
I used DCWV's Candy Cane Lane stack along with Little B bag die to create mini gift bags.
I have all my Christmas stamps and embellishments in two containers. It makes it easier for me to find supplies for my favorite holiday. I used LC's Christmas wood veneer and the "Creando Tags de Navidad" stamp set. You can get 25% off the Christmas section of the store, use code: NAVIDAD
These mini bags are the cutest!! LC's 2"x2" stamp sets fit perfectly in the bag, along with other embellishments. Of course you can also use them as treat bags too. I may need to make these for a swap coming up in a couple of weeks. They are just too cute. Now onto your next stop with my talented friend Patry.
Here is the complete line up. Enjoy the hop and thank you for visiting.
#eBrush Sugar Cookies
Happy Friday!!
I want to start of by saying I'm not a baker, but I am enjoying learning how to bake cakes and cookies. I baked sugar cookies from a package, not from scratch simply because I'm not there yet. I did however make the cookie glaze from scratch using this recipe here. I learned that icing and glaze are two different things. I also know why sifting confectioner's sugar or flour is so important in baking.
I used Clear Vanilla by Wilton and blue food coloring. I eBrushed the butterfly cookies using the Siphon adaptor and Latina Crafter's stencils, our sponsor this month. I placed the wand on the cradle to assist with alignment.
I was able to use the stencils three times before the food coloring seeped on the backside. I took a paper towel to clean them and used them again before washing.
These stencils will be used for baking only. I have another set of stencils coming my way to use with paints and such. Hand wash the stencils and air dry or use a lint-free cloth to dry. You don't want any lint particles sticking on your glaze.
Here they are! Yummy sugar cookies! The slightly brown cookies are good for dunkin'!
"Baked with Love, Especially for You"
The pinwheel and sack were included in Latina Crafter's May Craft Kit. I lined the cookie sack with parchment paper and stacked the ticket and sentiments with LC's stamp set.
I learned that with glazing cookies, it's best to make a batch of glaze a little thicker to outline the cookies before flooding the entire cookie with glaze. See told you I'm learning.
The cookies were delicious! I had one with my morning coffee, dunked of course, yum!
Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy your weekend.

Christmas in July #eBrush
Today I'm sharing a little Christmas in July.
I took a 3"x4" Christmas tree stencil by Latina Crafter and eBrushed with Spectrum Noir red and green markers. After removing the stencil, I realized the background was too white, so using the first setting and holding the eBrush wand approximately 4 inches away, I added a bit more of the red.
I used the cork paper to add a bit of texture and stamped the sentiment, "Merry Christmas" on vellum.
I additionally created a Christmas ornament using a bitty button "Peace, Joy and Love" and topped it with a tiny burlap bow.
Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy your weekend.

Nautical Treat Table
Using the cutout sheet from the stack, I created an easel stand from cardboard and hot glued it to the backside. I then added a tag and embellished with seashells.
I used the eBrush Siphon adapter to decorate cupcakes, but I'll share a couple of tips.
To help with alignment; with the bottle attached, place the brush on the cradle and check the tips align.
Do not over tighten the ring where the tip sits. It should be slightly loose so that the eBrush can siphon the food coloring or paint.
Make sure you cover your counters with wax paper for easy cleanup.
And here are the cupcakes. I used the Cricut Explore to cut out anchors and wheels. I then hot glued them to toothpicks. The perfect finishing touch to home baked cupcakes.
Here's a close-up of the pendant banner.
I hope you enjoyed my Nautical Treat Table.
