Birthday Invites
Here are my birthday party invites.
I used the scraps from the Chateau Lavender paper (see previous post). I used SVG Cuts free scallop cut file. I embossed the larger scallop with Sizzix Butterfly folder. The border was punched using Purple Cows, Summer Punch It.
I used a few stamps sets by The Stamps of Life. The flower background stamp is from the Back2Basics set. "You're invited" is from the HappyBday2You set. I had to do some masking to get the "Happy Birthday to {me!}: The brackets are from the Hearts2Love set. The "me!" is from the word "Welcome!" from the "Houses4Us" set. Still with me? :) The "Happy Birthday" is from Birthday2Celebrate and so is the "to" but it read "to you" so I masked off the "you". Whew! I'm trying to make the most of my stamps. LOL

Happy Belated Birthday to Me!
Happy Birthday to meeeeee!! Better late than never! Actually, I still haven't celebrated my birthday. Invites were mailed today. I'm so looking forward to my party. My birthday was last month, but due to bronchitis, I wasn't able to celebrate.
I decided to enter SVG Cuts Spring Challenge; create a Spring project using their files. Well, I believe I did just that. Warning: This is a long post, heavily worded with lots of pictures.
So here you have it Yolie's Spring Birthday.....cue the mariachi band please....."estas son las mañanitas"..... LOL
Tablescape:
Love how the birdcages turned out! Each place setting has a different box and doily. I was short one doily from the collection so I used the Mum free file.
I stamped swirls and a bird on the brown paper bags, embossed the bottom, stapled the bottom sides. Added some twine and inserted the flatware. The stamps used were Branches4Flowers, Thanks4OneYear, Stamps4FancyLabel and MakeNTake LE #1 by The Stamps of Life.
Here is the list of SVG Cuts collections used:
Playful Parlour
Poplar Street Tulips
Crisp Days of Fall
Doilies
Happy Birthday to You
One Piece Boxes
Hummingbird
Chrysanthemum
Daffodil
Candy Bar: I have lineage to Willy Wonka! Really I do. I paid a visit to the candy maker, got to see how they make Swirly Pops, Taffy, Peanuttles and Cup of Gold. Nom, nom, nom. Much like the movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I wasn't allowed to take pictures. Really no pictures and I'm related! Geez!
How fun are those pinwheels! They make me happy and yes, they do spin! It is a free file you can find here: Deluxe Pinwheel
I stamped the labels using Birthday2 Celebrate, Jar4Candy, Candy2Share stamp sets by The Stamps of Life.
The big flowers were created using gift tissue from Dollar Tree; each flower was a buck. I started to print a chevron print on white Kraft bags, but they kept getting jammed in my printer. Instead, I created a bold chevron stamp using my StampMaker .
Okay okay, so I'm not related to Willy Wonka, more like to an Oompa Loompa. My brother works for Adams and Brooks; they make the famous Swirly Pops! My husband and I got the grand tour and it was AWESOME!! Big thanks to my brother and to Adams and Brooks for most of the candy, there's some contraband candy in there. LOL
Banner: EAT CAKE
I loved how banner turned out and of course no birthday party is complete without a piñata! I was lucky enough to find it at my local dollar store...yeppers I paid a dollar for it. :)
I used paper from The Paper Company & DCWV Chateau Lavender. There was lots of inking of the edges here....added bling and doilies. I used various folders but one of my favorite is the butterfly folder designed by Stephanie Barnard. The font is a freebie named Circus.
Here is the cut file used: FREEBIE Gift Tags files and removed the hole.
So what do you think?

Yummies for you
Easter treats for my family. They are filled with Jelly Bellies!! Yummers! I received the treat bags from Heather {thank u} they measure 1x8. I will need more in different sizes so I searched and found them reasonably priced on eBay. The papers are from scraps; the Easter Wishes stamp by Studio G. The Yummies for you is a combo of two stamp sets; Banners4You and Jar4Candy, both by The Stamps of Life.
He is Risen!
Here's another card I created at Michael's card class. I replace the bird with my Mom's crocheted flowers. Also, replaced the sentiment best wishes with He is Risen. I love the embossing folder we used; it's by Stampin Up and it's definitely on my wish list!
Easter Chick
Last Saturday, I went to my first card making class at Michael's. Here's one of the cards I created. The card was a wedding card, but I replaced the love bird image with this cute Easter Chick; a dollar stamp from Michael's.
Challenges:
Card Crafter's Circle Challenge #17 Chocolate Bunnies
Use a bunny or brown on your cards. My chick is wearing bunny ears I hope that counts. :)

Easter Fairy
This is Elle the Easter Fairy from Paper Makeup Stamps. Except for the cardbase, paper is from scraps. Flowers are from Michael's dollar bin except I paid fifteen cents, :)
I stamped the inside of the card with the Bunny4Easter stamp by The Stamps of Life.
Challenges: Paper Makeup Stamps, #30 Tic Tac Toe
I used a fairy, sparkle and flowers on my card.

Happy Easter
Her hair is actually reddish, not orange. The ribbon and lace are white not off white. I just couldn't get a good picture tonight. The image by The Scrapbook Stamp Society, Spring Time Girl
I used a Ditto stamp to create the background...I love how it turned out. It was two bucks and it stamped beautifully.
