#LatinaCrafter Photo Inspired

Get your sunnies!  This is one bright and fun card!  I broke out with the Neon ink pads to create this festive card. Inspired by the photo the photo below; I stamped various flowers in Neon ink, added a black eyelet border.  I also stenciled a large doily on pink cardstock with keylime molding paste.  I didn't hold back on the bright colors!

I used the "amigas" die and stamped the sentiment from the Solo porque stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed my project today!

After the storm #eBrush #LatinaCrafter

Translation: "There is calm after the storm"

I shared this card over at the Craftwell Blog today.  I hope you have time to visit and leave a comment on their blog.

Today I am sharing a quick and easy card to make using the eBrush and Sharpie markers.  Here are a few of the supplies I used:

I first eBrushed the colors of the rainbows. I set the setting to high on and eBrushed over the white cardstock three times.  My purple marker is low on ink, therefore I didn't get the airbrush look, but that's OK.  I love how it turned out and how it's the brightest color, but then again purple is my favorite color. ;)

After I eBrushed my rainbow, I inked the grid stamp with gold metallic ink and stenciled the hearts with gold metallic modeling paste.  I then cut a piece of acetate to create the banner.  I stamped the sentiment with StazOn black ink, added a bit of gold twine and adhered it with mini glue dots.  The sentiment translates, "There is calm after the storm"

Here is another look at the card:

I hope you enjoyed my project today. Thank you for visiting!

St. Patrick's Day Treat Box #pinkandmain

Now with another Valentine's Day in the books, it's time to start crafting for St. Patrick's Day.  This cutie is a new stamp set from Pink and Main, Lucky Friend.

I love it when I can use product from past holidays; enamel dots from Halloween and the gold heart doilies from Valentine's Day.  Oh that paper from DCWV, Emerald Garden is GORGEOUS! I've been hoarding it for a year!

That bow! It's form Digi Playground, 3D Suit Elf Bow. I didn't use the elements to make the 'elf suit' and works perfectly.  Digi Playground has a great selection of 3D cut files, check them out.

The box is also a cut from Digi Playground, 3D Round Top Leaf Box.  It's a gorgeous leaf design, however for my treat box, I chose to use the 'blackout' function in SCAL2.  By choosing the blackout function, the leaf design, score lines and the ribbon slot are hidden and did not cut; to score the box I used Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape to assemble and  velcro for the closure.
I hope you enjoyed my treat box. Thank you for stopping by today.

#eBrush Altered Wood Heart

This is the project I created for my Guest Design post at the Craftwell Blog today.

I love the unfinished, un-sanded and rough surface; natural, very organic.  Pictured below is one of the templates {stencil} used.

Here are  just a few of the metal findings I used to embellish the wood plaque.  I airbrushed the white and silver medallions with a gold metallic Sharpie.  The metal roses were originally gunmetal and pink. I eBrushed them with a red Sharpie.

I eBrushed the designs using a Red, Brown and Metallic Gold Sharpie moving the template slightly  to highlight with red.

Additional, I used modeling paste for texture and before it dried,  I sprinkled red glitter to the paste.

The large metal 'Love' was a find at the jewelry section of my local craft store.  I wrapped a key with twine and placed it on the eBrushed flourish.  The metal roses, rhinestones and the metal findings were adhered with an industrial strength glue.

They say there are "no mistakes in art {crafts}".  It's true. The eBrush got away from me and I covered my "blunder" using a strip of ruffled canvas ribbon.  Here's how:  I eBrushed the canvas strip with red and metallic gold, added a strip of red rhinestones and used it to cover the "blunder", but it needed a little more.  I attached an owl, love charm to a round bezel and adhered it to the medallion before gluing it to the ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. Thank you for stopping by and Happy President's Day.

Sprinkles

This makes me laugh. My card was inspired by a popular commercial. I used the newest DCWV stack, Chic Chat, soon to be available at Michaels. This stack is full fun colors and patterns. Please visit the DCWV Blog for the video reveal.

A little more about my card, I designed the SVG 'Sprinkles' using two different fonts and cut on DCWV Glitzy paper on my Cricut.

To create the shaker, I cut three rings out of chipboard, glued them together and then added the acetate. I carefully added the sprinkles to the 2"x3" cutout from the paper stack and then glued down the circle.
I added a 1" wide ric rac ribbon from May Arts and layered a blue organza ribbon.

I hope you get a chuckle out of my card.  Thanks for stopping by.

#DCWV Shabby Valentine

I'm in love with this PINK burlap, actually all the colors in the DCWV Burlap card set.  The burlap is lined with Kraft paper. You are getting the burlap front and back!

I used the heart in the DCWV Doilies Template with bright reen modeling paste; I framed the heart with a Spellbinders die; embellished the card with Heart Gem Stickers and pink flowers from my craft stash.  I wrapped pink tulle and carefully inserted a heart stick pin.

Happy Love Day!
