I needed a devotional book for my upcoming Fall Bible Study. I purchased the composition notebook at Staples for .10 this past weekend.
I used K & Co. and TPC papers. The bling and flowers are from my stash. I'm not 100% sure but I believe the frame was from Paulo.
I created the title "I am Thankful" especially for this project, so I did not add swirls at the end of "l". I think it may need it, what do you think? This is what you can do, when you imported into SCAL2 weld on any of the swirls. All other cuts were the Home Decor cart.
I also decorated the inside with the scraps and added a pocket. And no project is complete without adding some form of glitter... I used my Gelly Roll Glitter pen!

Birthday Card
A birthday card for my Godson, AC. The pattern paper is super old! Cardstock is from TPC; ribbon is Making Memories Chocolate; stamp is from Michael's dollar bin. Font used is BlackJack it cuts great straight from SCAL no need to use Inkscape to make it wider. It's hard to see on the pic, but I also used the argyle embossing folder.
I got the inspiration and the pocket cut file from Gloria over at Lil' Cabin in the Woods...check out her blog out...she has the most beautiful vinyl projects!
Another altered box
Here's the second box of moon cakes upcycled. Pattern paper is from K&Co, brown cardstock is SEI, blue cardstock is TPC; Rhinestones from Studio 18; I used a the Stardust Gellyroll pen on "inspire" and "rubber stamps"; Inspire is from Home Accents cart (1 of the 2 carst I own LOL); I used Blackjack font to cut "rubber stamps" using my Cricut and SCAL2 it's mounted a Penny Duncan shapelie. I don't remember where I picked up the frame, on top of the box, so if you recognize it, please let me know so I can give proper credit.
You can see the "before" pics on my previous post.

Altered Storage Box
I saved these boxes from ending up in a landfill. I've had them for about two years now and it stored my paper punches, but I now I have the acrylic stamps in one and wood mounted stamps in the other. They're very sturdy with a magnetic closure.
I used K & Co. and The Paper Co. papers. When I open the box you can see some red but I decided not to cover this gap otherwise the lid wouldn't close properly. I ran out of Mod Podge so I need to head out to Michael's to get one...good excuse to go check their paper pads....I really don't need anymore paper but I'll just check them out...wish me luck with that!

OWH: I love you and Miss You cards
Here are the last two cards I made for Operation Write Home. All paper is from my stash of scraps. I'm making a dent on that pile..Yay! The hubster is home early today so my play time has come to an end...bummer...until tomorrow!
OWH: Fantastic Fall Card
The pattern paper is form DCWV Indian Summer Stack, the cardbase is from The Paper Co.; I used scraps for the title. The ribbon/yarn is by Wyla, purchased at Joann's for .97....I had the spool on my desk waiting for the right fall card and I think it looks perfect on this one. I used Tombow Metal glue to adhere, it's super tacky and dries quickly.
OWH: Pumpkin Day
OWH: Pumpkin Card
I love this pumpkin collage! I picked up from Michelle's place, you can get it here. Paper from my stash; I used a dollar stamp set by Inkadinkado.

More OWH Cards
So far I have made 12 cards for Operation Write Home! Yea!! I'm trying to catch up since my cardmaking in July lagged.
The pattern paper is K & Co....used 2- 12x12 sheets and made 6 cards with them and I still have some left to make at least 3 more cards...but then again the size of the cards are A2! LOL
I'm feeling the pressure from a youngster!!
Geez my niece, Sweet Dulce, has been busy creating cards and I feel the pressure!! LOL
I made these cards for OWH, guess all of them qualify for the midweek throwdown to use pattern paper. I hope you like them!
