Dreamy Chocolate & Special Announcement

Hello and welcome!  I have some amazing news, but before I announce it, I want to share my version of the Heart Fan Box from the I Love You bundle by Dreaming Tree.

I used DCWV Mocha Latte Stack, The Glitzy Stack and The Neutral Stack.  I usually use a wet glue to assemble boxes, but the pattern paper has foil and a smooth finish, instead I used Glue Dots' new super strength tape runner and strong bond dots.

Here is my dreamy chocolate fan box.  The foil swirls look so pretty!

Inside the box Ghirardelli milk chocolate caramels!  This is my parents Valentine's Day gift, I will also include a couple of gift cards to their favorite restaurants and cash because you know, chocolate and cash!

It was so easy to assemble, but if you need help Dreaming Tree also provides video tutorials for all of their collections.  They have FREE files you can download to try and they have just released a gorgeous collection, All My Loving.

And now for my special announcement, I have been invited by Leo, the founder of Dreaming Tree to join his super amazing talented Design Team!  I still can't believe it!!  Thank you Leo!

Love Birds #AJVD

Today Cupid makes another appearance and this time I paired him up with Prima paper along with coordinating flowers.  I used the retiring Love Birds {Die}alogue, make sure you grab it before it's gone.

To cut the layers, I used the retiring Banner {die}tails Nested Dies, one of my favorite die sets.
I used Glue Dots Strong adhesive glue, it really is strong, if you use it, once you've placed it onto the paper, it's there for good.  If you try removing it will tear your paper.

I cut all the banners with different pattern paper.  Love how dainty the Love Birds die cuts!

I added sequins to embellish and sprayed a bit of pink shimmer mist.

I hope you enjoyed my card as much I as enjoyed making it.  Thank you for visiting, Yolie.

Scrappy Valentine #AJVD

This is just one of my Valentine {Love} scrap containers.  I challenged myself to use paper from here to create all of my Valentine projects, so far so good.

I took the large chevron pattern Kraft paper and cut it down to create the card base.  I then took scraps, trimmed them down and tore a few of the edges.

I stamped the sentiment and a few of the hearts with Simply Said: Love Struck stamp set.  I found a sticker pack in the container and used the arrow, circle and the banner on top.

I found a clothespin and used it to hold the red jute bow.  The grey enamel dots look black against the dark red paper, but they are grey.

Thank you for visiting.

Love Struck #AJVD

Love is in the air!   Cupid is at it again! Today's love card was made with A Jillian Vance Design's Simply Said: Love Struck, Cupid Die Set, and Banner {die}tails Nested.

I gathered paper scraps from my Valentine storage bin, Authentic and Recollections paper.  Gorgeous flowers by Prima, Tales of Us collection and decorative brads from Vintage Emporium collection.  I used Tombow glue to adhere the flowers and Memento black ink to stamp the sentiment.

Here are all my pieces, the Cupid is the cutest, you're going to see it often on my Valentine's Day projects.  I almost forgot ribbon/twine, I used about a yard of red/tan jute.

Here is the completed card.  After I laid out my pieces, I opted not to use the heart doily.  I also added rhinestones through out the card.

It's such a romantic card, I hope the recipient enjoys it, as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Here is a close up of the flowers, you can almost smell them!

Thank you for visiting today, enjoy your day.
Yolie

Valentine's Day Treat/Gift Bags

I am so happy to announce, I have been asked to stay on the official AJVD Design Team.  Thank you Jillian and Bunny for having the invitation!

Today I am sharing a Valentine's Day treat bags.  I used the Simply Said: Love Struck stamp set and the dies from Banner Nested dies.
I also used paper by Pebbles, twine, leaf ribbon and enamel dots.

After die cutting the banners, I stamped "Happy Valentine's Day with the help of the Stamp Perfect positioning tool.

I slightly curled the banner ends and layered on them on the bag.  I then used both pink and hot pink twine to make a bow and added a strand of hot pink leaf ribbon.

I embellished with the enamel dots and they are now ready to be filled with treats.

Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful week!
