Scrapping for Less Anniversary Blog Hop

It’s All About Ice Cream this month here at Scrapping for Less for the March Flavor of the Month kit. Can you believe it has been one year since we began this card kit adventure? It has been a wild ride, but a very exciting ride!! We have grown with our subscriptions this past year by 8000%…and yes that is 8K percent growth! Baffles my mind! We are excited about this growth opportunity and even more excited with the new additions to our team…Keep looking to Scrapping for Less for some great inspiration in the future! Now onto these fabulous ladies, and our wonderful guest designers for what they have created for you with this super cute ice cream kit this month!

For my first card, I used Stampingbella stamp from the Cool Chicks collection and colored the image with Leisure Arts coloring pencils. The image is adorable!!

I cut the image, "treat yourself" and used the tear off strips of paper to create a cluster of banner strips.

I added pop dots to adhere the sentiment and then wrapped the brown twine on top of the tent style card. I finished the card by adding sequins.

Up next is a 4" x 4" card. I cut the white glitter paper for my first layer and used the banner dies to cut the glitter and the rainbow diagonal paper.  I then fussy cut the giraffe and the "party" speech bubble.

I also used a circle die to cut the party balloon paper for an extra layer. I adhered all my layers and clustered the images. I wrapped twine to the top of the card and finished it off with sequins.

For my last card, I used the rounded square dies to cut the card base, the candy pattern paper and the turquoise glitter paper. I then cut for the images and adhered them to the glitter paper.

This time, I used the twine to create the smallest tassel banner I've ever created. I thought it would take me forever and it did! :) Actually, it wasn't too bad at all and I love how it turned out. And for the finishing touch, you guessed it, sequins!

These kits are loaded! I still have so much to play with! Please note: the twine, card bases, metal dies and the adhesive is not included in the kit.
Don’ to enter in the Rafflecopter! And remember the best way to be reassured to receive a kit is to have a monthly subscription! Thanks again for hopping with us. Happy Crafting!

DIY Spring Home Decor #RineaInspires

Today, I bring you a simple Spring home decor idea using Rinea's Pastels Foiled Paper Crafter's Variety Pack.

Supplies:
The photo frame in my foyer is a quick an easy to change up for the holidays or season. First, I die cut the butterflies using the Glossy Lavender, Turquoise and Jade. Next, I ran the doily die on white cardstock and cut 3 doilies.

.
I trimmed the Starstruck foiled paper to fit in each of the photo frame openings and used Helmar's Tacky Glue to adhere the doilies and added a thin layer throughout the backside of the butterflies.

I allowed the Helmar's Tacky Glue to completely dry before putting the frame back together.

Thank you for visiting and happy crafting.

Blog Hop with MISTI / Pink & Main

Welcome to my blog. Remember to leave a comment at each stop to be entered to win one of two prizes: a $50 shopping spree at My Sweet Petunia and a $50 shopping spree at Pink & Main. Last day to comment is Sunday, March 25th, at 11:59 PM Central time and the two winners will be announced on Tuesday April 3rd.
You should be arriving from Jeanne's blog, now onto my little project.

I used the MISTI to stamp the images from the Kids Birthday stamp set. I wanted the images to be as close as possible and the MISTI is the perfect tool for stamp placement. It allows you to align your stamps before they get inked. Love it!

I used Leisure Arts Premium Colored Pencils to color the images and drew the checkered floor.

I used the Celebrate paper with the Scallop borders dies to create the fun canopy on top of the card and used glue dots for dimension.

For the final touch, I added a few of the Birthday Girl Glossy Dots to the scallop.

Thank you for participating in the Pink & Main and My Sweet Petunia Blog Hop.

Find joy #rineainspires

There are so many ways you can create with Rinea Foiled Paper, one of my favorite is making flowers. I love how the Foiled Paper holds its shape. Here is a inspirational card I made using Rinea's Pastels Foiled Crafter's Pack.

Supplies:

I die cut 9 layers of the flower of each of the Gold/Gold Glossy, Glossy/Jade and the white crepe paper. I used Helmar Tacky Craft Glue to adhere each layer. After the glue dried completely, I shaped the each petal to create a beautiful bloomed flower.

.
I then used the lattice border die to cut top and bottom of the Glossy/Lavender Gold . I used a couple of sheets of the 6" x 6" pattern paper to crate the front panel of the card.

I embellished the card wtih Glossy Dots by Pink and Main.

I glued down a gold strand of twine and then I added generous amount of Helmar Tack Craft Glue to adhere the flowers.

Here is my completed card, "Find Joy".

I hope you enjoyed today's project.
