Watercolor Stack #DCWV

Happy Tuesday! Is it just me or does today feel more like a Monday?
Today I'm sharing a card I made using The Watercolor Stack.   The stack is available at Joann's and seriously, with the amazing sales online or at your local store, I would grab a stack or two.

The gorgeous designs on this stack paired with gold foiling are totally amazing!  I used the cutout sheet and used the "really really like you" for the greeting.

This is the inside of the card.  I almost don't want to use a liner.  Oh idea!  I will use  vellum instead so I won't completely cover the design.

I love it when I can use product from my stash, they are flowers by Prima Marketing and they match perfectly!  I used  dimensional Glue Dots to adhere the flowers.  The gold string can be found in the jewelry section of your local craft store.

Thank you so much for visiting today, enjoy the rest of your crafty week.

Scraps, Tips and Candles #eBrush

It's a month long fiesta featuring Sabor Papel, this month's Craftwell sponsor.

Lately, I've been challenging myself to make a little something using scraps.  My birthday card, I used scraps from  Sabor's Olé collection.  I used the eBrush with Tombow markers to add shading to the pieces.

To avoid getting inky fingers, I used painter's tape to hold down my pieces.  I took a 6" strip, with the tacky side up, I folded the ends and taped them down to my working paper.  I gently placed my scraps onto the painter's tape and voilà, no inky finger tips or flying scraps.

Here is my birthday card.
Translation:  Make a wish! Blow out the candles!

I found a green doily from my Christmas stash and eBrushed it and added it to the background.
I took the 4"x 6" cut out and trimmed down to 4" x 3 1/2, layered the strips of scraps to the top 3" x 4" cut out.   I used Glue Dots to adhere the yellow top layer and adhered the heart die cut.
I fussy cut the candy and added them along with sequins to the heart die cut.
Finally, I added a jute ribbon to the top and adhered the doily border, it's a doiy punch I've had in my stash forever and a day.

Here is another tip:  I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the sequins.  It seriously made it so easy.

Mini Purse #eBrush

It's a month long fiesta featuring Sabor Papel, this month's Craftwell sponsor.

Today I am sharing a mini purse I made using paper from the Amor collection, die cuts from Ole collecction and of course my trusted eBrush.

I imported the free purse SVG file by Dreaming Tree into Design Studio and used Sharpies for shading.

I used Scor Tape to assemble the purse and used pop dots to adhered the sentiment and flower.

I used three strands of jute and tied them to close the bag.  She's a cute little thing!

Thank you for visiting today, enjoy your weekend.

Wedding Invitation #saborpapel

Welcome to Wedding Wednesday.  Sticking to the Día de Muertos wedding theme, today I am sharing an inviation.

I used Ramitos and Amor Eterno from Sabor's Amor collection to make a wedding invitation sample.

I used a SVG file cut on my Cricut to create the wedding invitation.  I used black paper for the front panel and back panel of the card.  I adhered them with Scotch Quick Dry glue.  I think the most difficult part of making this invite was choosing which side of the paper to use for the front of side of the invitation.

I fussy cut the bride and groom from the Amor Eterno paper and used pop dots to adhere to the right side of the panel.

Here is the inside of the invitation.  Both sides of the paper have beautiful floral prints, you can see why I had difficulty deciding.

I hope I have inspired you to create your own wedding invitations using Sabor's paper.  The Amor collection is perfect for that.
Thank you for visiting today.

Stack-a-holic Challenge #DCWV

Hello, this is Yolie from the Social Media Design Team with today's project featuring The Birds and Butterflies Stack.

The May Stack-a-holic Challenge challenge is in full swing and so I am sharing my take on the card sketch.

My card measures 5" x 5".  I cut the free wreath and thank you SVG files to fit my card size.  I used several pattern papers from the stack, leaving the purple glitter paper as my card base.

I adhered the wreath with 3M Quick Dry glue and used Glue Dots to adhere the "thank you".
No embellishments needed.  I felt the glitter paper was enough for this colorful thank you card.

Hope to see your participation in this month's challenge. Thank you for stopping by and enjoy your week.

Burlap Wall Organizer #eBrush

I shared this quick and easy stenciling project using the eBrush on the Craftwell blog last week.

I purchased a burlap wall organizer at my local dollar store.  It's sturdy enough to hold mail, paper, notepads.  A simple stenciling with IN & OUT on the pouches will do.

Using the stencils by Teresa Collins, I masked off the other letters in the stencil and used a Sharpie and the eBrush to personalize the organizer.

I also eBrushed a tag and added a couple of clothespins for special notes.  A quick tip, remember to lift your stencil off the material carefully.  The ink sometimes doesn't dry quick enough and if you're not careful, you can get ink stains on your material.  I got a bit of ink stains from the letter "o".  I'm okay with it because it's burlap. :) :)

Thank you for visiting today, enjoy your week.

Cinco de Mayo Blog Hop Fiesta

Welcome and Happy Cinco de Mayo! I am your last stop of the hop.  You should have arrived from the mega talented Pam's blog, but if you want to start from the beginning, please visit Craftwell's blog.

Today I am sharing my version of papel picado.  I designed my own to include flowers for a little more extra dimension.  Here is the screenshot of the components.

I used several pattern paper from Sabor Papel.  I used my scraps to cut the small flowers, so save those scraps.  I stamped the inside liner with Latina Crafter's stamp and cut the word "celebra = celebrate" on glitter paper.  Translation:  Today is the day to Celebrate
{Oh and that ink pad, love, need to get the other colors!}

I used Craftwell's grid embossing folder to emboss the yellow panel. Love the waffle look!

Here is my card assembled.

The inside of the card.

I love the embossed background and so loving the flowers!

And to continue the festivities, Latina Crafter is offering 15% off your order.  Use coupon code CELEBRA at checkout.  Offer valid through May 10th.

Pocket Graduation Invitations #Craftwell

It's graduation season.  Hello this  is Yolie sharing the graduation invitations I made for my niece's party.

They were quick and easy to make.  I took a free pocket file and cut it on my electronic machine.  I then used the Cut N Boss to emboss the pocket with a music note embossing folder.

Here is one of the 15 invitations I made.  The embossing is simply beautiful.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy your week.

Wedding Candle #SaborPapel

Welcome to another Wedding Wednesday. Today I'm sharing a Día de Muertos Wedding Candle.

I used La Novia and El Novio from Sabor's Amor collection to decorate the candle holder.

I fussy cut the bride and groom to fit the height of the glass candle holder.  I then wrapped the pattern paper to the glass holder and used hot glue to adhere.
Before adding the happy couple, I added jute, tule and a tag to the top.  Instead of the green tulle, I decided to go with the teal tulle.
I then took the couple and used pop dots to adhere.

I simply love the dimension the pop dots add to the images.

Here is a closeup of the bride and groom, I must say I am so loving her earrings!
