Hello Darling #DCWV

For today's project, I used The Garden Charm Stack available at Joann's.
You will also need, a paper trimmer, scissors, Scor-Tape, Scor-Pal and jute ribbon.

I cut the card base out of the Kraft paper included in the stack to make a 5" x 5" card.  Choosing the pattern paper is always difficult especially when every print floral print is as gorgeous as the next.
I cut all the layers and also fussy cut the stemmed flowers.  The sentiment is from the cut out sheet.

I then took a floral print and made a gift box following the instructions on the Scor-Pal site.

This project is quick and easy to make.  Other than the jute ribbon, I did not include any embellishments.  Of course you can include them if you wish.
No use of electronic machines or dies, simply some quiet time with paper, a trimmer, scissors and the Scor- Pal.

Thank you for visiting and enjoy the rest of your week.

Easter Decor #eBrush

Happy Easter! Today I'm sharing an eBrush Easter Home Decor project.

I took Easter eggs and painted them with acrylic paints; white, purple and yellow.

I then used the eBrush with Sharpies to add some more color.

I decorated with lace ribbon and rhinestones.

The Easter eggs are 18" in height and I purchased them last year after the Easter sale for .15 each at Walmart.  You may also find smaller versions at Target.  So be on the look out after season sales.  I decorated 6 of them, this trio sits on my mantel.
Thank you for visiting and Happy Easter!

Birthday Party Invites #SaborPapel

Hola and happy Wednesday! It's time to share another Sabor project so let's get to it.

I am so enamored with Sabor Papel that I plan on using every bit and piece.  I used the 4" x 6" cut out cards to create the front panels of my invites.

I then fussy cut the papel picado from the party decor scraps.  I adhered the papel picado with pop dots for dimension, glued the jute and embellished with small flowers.

I stamped, "You're invited to celebrate" on strips of scrap paper, cut the dove tails and adhered.  The stamps are from Latina Crafter's Te invito set.  Super quick and easy, but ever so festive!  Oh and that guitarra with those flowers I love!

Papel picado makes me happy!  The colors and designs are beautiful.  Crystal did amazing job conveying the festive Mexican culture that I grew up in and love.

My party is this Friday!! Yay! Thanks for visiting me!

Hip Hip Hooray!! #DCWV

NEW Stacks from DCWV!  Yes, please!!  Today I'm sharing their new Confetti Stack!  I love a a good celebration and this stack is everything!  What better than confetti to celebrate any occasion!

Here's what you will need to make this quick celebration card; Confetti Stack, paper trimmer, scissors, Scor Tape, ribbon and a brad or enamel dot.

I used a couple of the cut out sheets to cut 2 tags and fussy cut a cupcake.  I trimmed one of the confetti pockets.  I took some of the larger confetti and added it to the pocket.  Inserted the cupcake before resealing the pocket with Scor Tape.

Hip Hip Hooray!

Here is another view of my card.  {I may still have Christmas ribbon on my craft table.  That pink tinsel type ribbon is a scrap from a Christmas project.}

Sending confetti your way!!  Enjoy your weekend!!

National Craft Month - Colorful Crafts

Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos!  I am super excited to be sharing my first projects as Design Team member for Sabor Papel!  Today it's all about a party decor.  I put together a treat table for a birthday featuring Sabor's Olé collection.

Here is a close up the flowers I made using the floral pattern paper.  Not only are the pattern papers gorgeous, but it's good quality card stock.  I used a 3 piece flower die set to get the flower layers and it cut beautifully!

I used the cut out sheets to create a festive banner. I created my own version of papel picado with Cricut's Design Studio to layer the pieces. I strung the banner on jute and layered it with pom pom ribbon, felt circle banner and a string of lights.  Sabor Papel cuts so clean on the Cricut Explore! No tearing, love it!!

I want to able to say I made the cookies, but I didn't, they are store bought.  Seriously though, how pretty do they look in my tortillera.  It serves as cookie basket too.

I used several different pattern paper to cut the treat boxes with my Circut Explore and used the scraps to cut out a few doilies.  The toughest part of working with this paper is deciding which side of the paper to use!

Here is another look at the layered banner.

Thank you #eBrush #Craftwell

Happy Friday and happy March!  This month the Craftwell Design Teams are featuring Teresa Collins' dies and embossing folders.

This week I created a thank you card.  I grabbed a few dies and ran them through the Cut N Boss.  I also used the wood grain folder to emboss the card base.   This time I reached for the Tombow markers to use with the eBrush.  Color me impressed!  Love them, they are fantastic!  They coordinated perfectly with Teresa Collins' Far & Away 6"x6" paper.

Here is the card:

After I assembled the card, I realized it was to bulky for the glassine bag.  So I used the Cricut to cut a envelope/bag template.
I embossed using the wood grain embossing folder.   The Cut N Boss was able to emboss the Kraft paper folded in half, leaving a deep impression.  Sweet!

Here is the card and envelope set:

Perfect fit!

I hope you enjoyed my project today.  Thanks for visiting.
