Great Friendships {Pink & Main Sneak Peek}

Before we get to the sneak peeks, I want to remind you of the coordinating SVG files available.  They are sized to fit the stamps, but can easily be resized.  Most of the designs and phrases have a coordinating SVG file and can be resized to create a larger mat or frame, as I did below.
Here's a screenshot of the SVG file resized to create a mat and the vellum framed mat:

For the frame, I aligned the small mat on top of the larger one and used the 'exclude' function in SCAL2.

The stitched outline mat stamp is from the NEW "Super Mom" stamp set, you can catch a glimpse below.  The sentiment from "Flower Bouquet Greetings" fits perfectly.
The beautiful green damask paper is from Recollections.  I used the same paper to create the flowers out of a small scallop punch.  The wood veneer leaves are also by Recollections.  The itsy bitsy incy wincy butterflies are from a Tonic border punch.  Now onto April's sneak peek, actually not really.  If you want to see the full  April release click on the photo:

Here is April's sneak peek:

Thank you {Pink & Main}

Here again to share my clean and simple card using Pink and Main's  Flower Bouquet Greetings stamp set.
The gold metallic dots is a tube of Beads in a Bottle.  A pack of four was under ten bucks at my local craft store.  A lot more affordable than liquid pearls.  Need to remember to squeeze just a small amount so they are rounded.  They adhere perfectly to paper and dry fast.  Beads in a Bottle are also available in different colors and a great alternative to enamel dots.

I also played with CAS sketch #286, you can find the link below.

The Sweetest Day {Pink & Main}

I hope you're enjoying your Saturday.  Today I'm sharing a birthday card using Pink and Main's Sweet on You stamp set.  The original sentiment is plural, but I masked off the 's' in "days" with a bit of washi tape.  The paper is by MME Hootenanny and enamel dots from my stash.

I also played with Paper Crafting Challenges sketch #6, you can find the link below.

Smarty Pants!

These Smarty Pants treat boxes were created using the Monster Treat Bags and Funny Faces Photo Props cut files.
I used Frankie's face and placed the top of his head slightly off the cutting mat.  I used his eyes, eyebrows and smile too.  The glasses, hair, actually mustaches, bows and barrets were all from the Funny Faces collection.  I was able to use scraps for the faces, love when that happens.

The treat boxes have a Mr. Peabody and Sherman feel with a bit of Mr. Potato fusion.

This time I used the sketch to create a card.  I used LC's  "Celebrando & Gracias" mini stamp set and Polaroid die and twine from their shop, all linked below.  The paper is MME, Hootenanny I recently purchased at TJ Maxx for two bucks.  The enamel dots are a mix of MME and my DIY dots.

Rock On {DC9 & Freebie}

Creating a masculine card is always a challenge for me.  I scored the Route 66 Recollections stack for eight bucks.  I figured it was a good guy stack to have around.
I used the title from the Rock On cut files from Designs on Cloud 9

Eres Maravillosa

Translation: You are marvelous

Stopping by to remind you of the Sketch Challenge over at the Latina Crafter's blog.
This time around a used the sketch to create a layout.  I used a few of LC's stamps and dies, all linked below.  The ruffled decorative paper and pattern paper were a gift... pretty paper.

I cut the 2x2 wood veneer using LC's journal die and stamped the insta-camera form the #amolascámaras stamp set.  Lightly colored it with Spectrum Noir markers so the color wouldn't bleed.  Here's a close up:
