DIY Dry Erase Board #DCWV

A quick and easy project to put together.  I purchased a frame from my local dollar store for a buck fifty.  I used the DCWV White Board Stack, trimmed to fit the frame.
The flowers were cut from the DCWV Foil Cardstock 6"x6 stack.  I finally own the Sizzix Tattered Flower die.  I got in the mail today and used it today!  I embossed the flowers, layered them and hot glued them to the frame. I added the DCWV Gem Sticker pearls and my dry erase board was complete.

Here is a close up of the flowers.  Gorgeous!

Altered Burlap Bag

I had such a great time altering this mini burlap bag.  These two photos are the supplies I used.  I did switch the brown Staz On for the black.  I added a strand of iridescent pearls, glue gun, needle thread to the supply list.

I used the eBrush airbrush machine to spray the canvas ruffled ribbon, canvas flower and to stencil the hearts on the Eiffel Tower background.  Totally in love with this machine.

Here's  closer look at the Story Locket from Blue Moon Beads. It hangs on a strand of iridescent pearls and everything attached with hot glue.  I cut the DCWV Dazzling Resin Jewel with Fiskars' Amplify scissors; they cut like butter!  The Dazzling Resin sheet has super tacky adhesive back, however since I'm dealing with burlap, I secured the strands of bling with hot glue.

Here's my cute little bag.  I am so in love with it .....oh la la Amor!

Birthday Card & Gift Box

I created a birthday card and mini box set to share at the Latina Crafter blog today.  I haven't created a card this size in a long time.  I had so much space to work with and I loved it! I used the beautiful purple paper kit from DCWV.  It's the Premium Paper 5 Pack set, I couldn't find it online, but I have a photo below of the display at Joann's.  I decorated the card with DCWV gem stickers, added May Arts double band ribbon and a banner to give a festive look.  I cut the banner with Spellbinders' Triangle die.  I cut the word "celebra" with Latina Crafter's die and used Glue Dots to adhere.

The box is a svg file from SVG Cuts.  I assembled it using Scor-Tape so I know it will hold up. I decorated it with gem stickers and added a paper flower for the finishing touch.

Thank you for stopping by today.

I am Happiest

I wanted to create a Valentine's Day card using a large heart stencil, but didn't have one.  Instead of searching for one to purchase, I used one of Designs on Cloud 9's Love Life Cards SVG file to create my own stencil.  It's a one time use unless you manage to cut on a sturdy plastic. I used scrap paper and it worked just fine.

With a simple function in SCAL2, I was able to create the stencil, here's a screenshot:

I added glitter and helped the drying with the heating tool.  I stamped the sentiment with Pink & Main's Flower Bouquet Greetings stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed my card and thank you for stopping by today.

#pinkandmain Sneak Peek

Not old but vintage.  I like it.  More value!  The Pink & Main January will be available soon.  Production was delayed due to CHA, but hang tight, they will be here soon.

I used the scraps from a kit, no longer in business, but I sure do miss the monthly happy mail.  The die cut outs, postcard and scallop circle are from  Authentique along with the sticker borders and circle banner.  I stamped the cameo, feathers, frames and sentiments from the "Misses" stamp set, a lovely stamp set!

For a glance at the new stamps, follow Pink & Main on Instagram or Facebook. They will be available to purchase soon. :)

#pinkandmain Mister

This card came together nicely with the help of a kit.  My little mistake also turned out great.  I tried using a tape runner to adhere the cork and it tore.  I like it!

I used one of the NEW January Release stamp sets from Pink & Main; Mister.

I assembled the boxes using 1/4" Scor-Tape.

I decorated the box with strips of paper and added 3/8" knotted edge ribbon from May Arts. I stamped the tag using the stamp set included in Latina Crafter's December Kit. I added a bow using 1/4" black chevron ribbon and attached a mini clothespin.
And for the final touch, I decorated the tag with DCWV Adhesive Glass Hearts. Here's how they turned out:

Feliz Día de Reyes

Happy Three Kings day! Day of Epiphany! Mexican tradition and most of Latin America calls to leave a shoe out for the Kings to leave a gift. I did last year, but they skipped over me.  This year I made sure I got a gift.  My dear husband unknowingly purchased a crafty grab bag.  Ok maybe it was me, but I got a gift from the Three Wise Men!

The above card is for my GodSon.  I used Latina Crafter stamps, linked below and DCWV Gold Christmas box of cards; they are no longer available, but I found the Kraft & Gold set that is very similar to it here.  The banner is also from DCWV Gold 6"x"6 Cardstock.
I heat embossed the image using Stampendous gold embossing folder.

I have been searching for the gold doilies currently at Target, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.  I instead decided to paint white doilies with Folk Art acrylic paint, Extreme Glitter.
Here's another look at the card.  I hope you had a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by.
