Dare to dream

Guest Designing again for Latina Crafter.  This week they are featuring Mi flor favorita stamp set.  Here's my layout:

The word "espectacular" is from the stamp set El chico de mi vida (The man in my life).

I used one of the flower stamps to create the dimensional flowers; I stamped the backside of the paper, inked the edges, crumbled them, layered, added a rhinestone.

The paper is from Kaiser Craft's Lake House collection with the exception of the stripped paper.  The bird cage is a cutting file from Paper Crafting World.

Thank you purple mums

Told ya I love these bags!
I used State Line's size 4"x 6" bag.  The small outline mum and 'thank you' are from the stamp set Mums2Stamp.  The large mum is from  MoreMums2Love; both stamp sets by The Stamps of Life.  I used hot fix stones and glued down the smaller bling with Aileen's Fast Grab glue.
On this bag and the ones I decorated yesterday, I used pigment and chalk inks, along with coloring with Mark Its and Copics, they all work extremely well.  I also used Fabri-Tac glue to adhere the ribbon.

FBD Stamp Release Blog Hop {CLOSED}

Hello and Welcome to the August Fresh Brewed Designs Three Day Blog Hop!

If you are just finding your way to our  fun filled, extra caffeinated blog hop, then please start at the beginning here: Freshly Brewed Challenges.

The Fresh Brewed Designs Team and Guests have put together another HOT blog hop for you that starts TODAY and lasts ALL THIS WEEKEND featuring handmade projects inspired by our new released Rubber Stamps. You may remember that these, just as a few others in our rubber collection, once started as digis. We were literally begged to put them into rubber.... so after a year of their hibernating, here they are! Back and better than ever - ready to be created with and to make you smile.

I choose to create with Cuppa Joe and June's release "Baby Bump".  My brother and his wife announced their first baby is a girl!  Little DeliBee will be here in January.  I created this bag for their baby shower. Notice I took a pink marker to color the pull string.
I loved these two stamps together... cute!

For the duration of the hop, you can get these 2 stamps and a fun set of eight 4x6 American Craft double sided papers (cut by Heather) for just $11.  A photo is available on the first stop.

Please leave a comment for a chance to win a set of 4 muslin cotton bags from State Line Bag Co. and twine.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens....

....I simply remember my favorite things....

How I love this song and The Sound of Music!!!

I have some fun projects to share with you today.  I was approached by State Line Bag Co to design with their muslin cotton bags.  I'm so loving them!!  They are perfect for gift giving and party favors.  You may want to check out their store, they have several different sizes.   Don't worry if you aren't ready to buy wholesale, they also have them available in smaller quantities in their Amazon shop and Etsy Store.
So what does My Favorite Thing song have to do with all this?  Keep reading. :) :)

Here are a couple of the bags I decorated:

Before I stamped the chevron background, I masked the area off for my sentiment.  It reads, "you are loved more than you", a sentiment stamp from Paper Smooches "Hope" stamp set.  I had a little oops with the ink, so I covered it with heart shaped brads.

These cute lil birds are from the "Priceless Joy" stamp set by The Alley Way stamps.  The sentiment and frame are from the "Stamps4FancyLable" set by The Stamps of Life

And up close and personal is "My favorite things" bag!  The stamp is designed by Norma and you may find it here.  The doily border stamp is a stamp from MME.  I found the faux doily button at Walmart, I love it! :)

So what's going in these bags?  A few of my favorite things of course! :)

Thank you State Line for the opportunity to create with your bags.  I hope you all stop by for tomorrow's blog hop....that's all I'm saying.   Psst, I hope the song stays with you for the rest of the day.  It's been with me for a whole week! Yes a week!  LOL!!

¡Inolvidable!

Latina Crafter is featuring "Un viaje inolvidable" (Unforgettable trip) stamp set.

Here's a page I created from our St. Louis trip two years ago.

In addition to using the featured set, I used "Sonrie" (Smile) and  "La vida es..." (Life is...).

Here's a close up of the top page.  These are such fun pictures! :)  The caption translation reads, "So much love". I also used Latina Crafter's washi tape.  They carry the cutest designs.

My niece, Irene smooching with the cute guy in the window and AC my god-son and Dulce's big brother, giving the cute blonde an Eskimo kiss. :)

I used a chevon Bitty Button and some seam binding ribbon, aslo available in Latina Crafter's shop.  The swirly frame and the camera are from the featured stamp set.  Translation on Dulce's picture, "this is life" Oh how she loves her candy and had loads of fun visiting Crown Candy.  She's carrying the world's largest jaw breaker. LOL!
Please stop by Latina Crafter's blog and check out the Design Team's creations!
