Father's Day #PinkandMain

Where do you get your inspiration?  I get inspired by crafters, magazine ads, commercials, movies, TV shows as was the case for this card.  Being a child of the 80's I love that Netflix has A Different World available for viewing.  I recently watched their version of The Gift of the Magi and I fell in love with Maggie's hipster sweater.  Top hats and bows!

I used Pink and Main's Mister stamp set paired with a sentiment from Happy.  I used a derby hat and cut tiny bows on the Cricut Explore Air.

I would love to see your TV Show inspired project.  Give it a try.

You are the best #LatinaCrafter

Translation: Ma you are the best in the world

I'm up on the Latina Crafter blog today, sharing a wall hanging made for my Mom using LC's April Kit.

I love everything in this kit.  The stamp can be used for any Mom occasion. Love the resin flowers, stencils and the Prima paper has beautiful prints.  I chose the dress pattern because my Mom was a seamstress and on occasion still sews and of course including a dress form was a must.  The dress form is from the Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge and rests on top of a Spellbinders die, love!!  The gold swirls are scraps from the gold Mother's day card I made. They are gold, I couldn't toss them out.

I also used Crackle Paint for the first time.  I love it!  I stamped the sentiment with black Staz On ink and then brushed on the paint heavy on the sentiment and light on the rest of the paper.
I used Tombow adhesive to glue it on a white canvas.  The plan was to add a knob to the right bottom corner so she can hang her keys, but sadly I couldn't find one in my stash.  I have them, just couldn't find it.

Father's Day theme kit is now available! It has the coolest stencils! My kit is on it's way! Check out the  available kits here.

I want to take this moment to invite you to the LC Birthday Celebration on their Facebook group happening in a few days.  So you're invited!

So thankful for you #eBrush

Hello and happy Friday, this is Yolie from the Team eBrush.  Today I'm sharing a clean and simple card using the eBrush.

Here's the flower I eBrushed for my CAS card and an extra flower just in case I need it.

From white cardstock to this pink beauty!  I just love my eBrush.  I used Spectrum Noir CR4 and CR5, curled the petals slightly,  added the rhinestone to the center and placed it on the die cut mat.

The sentiment is from Pink and Main's Thankful stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by today, enjoy your weekend.

Ombre #eBrush Banner

I'm up on the eBrush blog today sharing an ombre pennant banner but first, I want to share about a little of the new Siphon adaptor for the eBrush!

The Craftwell Siphon is available to purchase at an introductory price, while supplies last!! Click on the special link HERE for a discount code, plus FREE shipping.  If you're not convinced yet, I highly recommend you check out Debi's videos! She does an amazing job demonstrating the Siphon with acrylic paints, food coloring and makeup!!  If you don't own the eBrush, no worries there is a bundle available too!  Don't forget to enter the code found on the landing page to get your discount!

Now onto my project for today:
First, I started by designing a stencil, I created a circle mesh; created an outline of a circle, copy, paste, align, weld repeat to create the mesh pattern.  I then inserted a triangle, resized and used the slice function.

I then created an outline of the triangle and welded on the mesh.

Here is a look at the pennant circle mesh and the solid image.  Cut one of the circle mesh and use it as a stencil; cut nine of the solid bunting on white card stock.

I held it down the stencil with my hand, but if you prefer you can add a little repositionable adhesive to keep it in place.

Here are the color Sharpies I used to create the ombre look.  Next, punch holes and run seam binding through each pennant.

Super fun and festive banner!

Thank you for stopping by today, enjoy your weekend.

miss your face #PinkandMain

I used two of my favorite Pink and Main stamps on this missing you card.  Speech Patterns  and Oh Snap are 'older' stamps and they are such a favorite of mine, so much so this is the first time playing with them! Classic hoarder!

I paired them with Echo Park's Capture Life, another favorite.  I stamped the speech bubbles with black Staz On ink and inked up the wood veneer too. I masked the 'u' in "miss u" sentiment from the Speech Patterns set and combined it with the "your face" from Oh Snap to create the sentiment.  Love when that happens.

Please stop by and check out the new May stamps Thank you for stopping by today.

Mother's Day Gift Idea

I am using DCWV's Lavender Quarterfoil storage box as gift box. I added burlap ribbon, jute, gold cording and topped the box with a gold foil rose. I used the gold foil paper from the The Cardstock Stack to cut the rose on my Cricut. This stack has double sided glitter, foil and cardstock and the foil is simply gorgeous with almost mirror like finish. I used the vellum paper from the 6"x6" Foiled Vellum Stack to cut the leaves. I love the soft subtle look of vellum leaves.

The card measures 5"x7" and I used the same Gold Foil paper and adhered to gold glitter paper from the 12"x12" Glitzy Glitter Stack. The card design is a Cricut Design Space file, Mother Fancy Bird. The gold foil is absolutely gorgeous in person.

Here's another view of the gift box and card together. I hope my Mother-in-law enjoys her gift.

 Thanks for visiting today.

Bee Happy #PinkandMain

Bee happy! Yes indeed, it's Friday and this weekend is National Scrapbook Day!

Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of one of Pink and Main's May stamps.  She's got lashes, spider lashes and she's still cute! :)

I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and added a bit of white Wink of Stella. The honeycomb background  is a file from Designs on Cloud 9 cut on the Cricut Explore.  Stay tuned for the full May stamp reveal in the next few days.

#LatinaCrafter May Challenge

Hello May!  How about a cuppa dark chocolate almonds?  I created these treats for Latina Crafter's May Sketch Challenge.  Obviously, I didn't follow the sketch, but I did follow the theme; COFFEE.

I cut the coffee cup on my Cricut Explore using DCWV The Gilded Stack and assembled with Scor-Tape.  I embellished them with wood veneers and a green bow from May Arts.

I then tied the treat bag with a bit of twine and added a circular tag stamped café.

I hope you join this month's challenge. Thanks for stopping by.
