Joe!

I was so excited to learn there is a National Joe Day!  I was so ready to create a Joe card and share it, but Joe Day was yesterday but I'm still sharing it today:

Before Hot Cuppa Joe was a rubber stamp, he was a digital stamp. I'm so happy I have both!  I created my card using the digital stamp, sorry no longer available, but you can find the rubber stamp here.
You may notice I created the side border with his name tag....that took me awhile to do and will share it another day. :) It' almost 4am and I gotta go count sheep, but before I do, I want to remind you the Cuties rubber stamps are on sale!  Grab them while you can!

Smile, smile, smile

Smile you say?  I don't think so!  East meets West: one cheek goes East, the other West and I'm not having that! ROFLOL!  Don't get me wrong I love to laugh.  I do it often and loud, but the camera will not be capturing it any time soon.
So it has been written; so shall it be done ...

Page One:

I used "Backyard Campout" digital stamp by Sherri Baldy. I printed her on Kraft paper and added her onto a Polaroid frame, a stamp by Latina Crafter.  I adhered them to a scallop frame by Designs On Cloud 9.

My journaling is tucked away in the library pocket, another cutting file by DC9.  I used date roller stamp, but I need to remember to "rock it"when stamping with this bad boy.
On the pocket I stamped a smaller Polaroid and included the word sonrie {smile}.  The wood veneer camera is by Little Yellow Bicycle.  The beautiful crochet flower was made by Mom.  Love my mom's flowers!

Page Two:

For my second page, I used lace, washi tape, a large gold sequin and flower chipboard all from my stash.  The metal "smile" by Momenta.  The green seam binding from Latina Crafter's shop.  All the pattern papers used are from an old MAMBI stack, Forever Watercolor.

Almost forgot to mention, the "eyelets" on page one are grommets that fell of the twill ribbon.  They worked out perfectly!  Also, I used decorative scissors! {border strip on page 1}  This pair is by Provo Craft!  Fess up, who still has their decorative scissors?  As you can see I still do!  Lots of them!!  Can you say hoarder? I can! LOL!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Translation:  Smile, it's your special day

I'm sharing a clean and simple card with you today.  I used three different camera stamps from Latina Crafter.  I would have liked one of the cameras to be in orange, but I couldn't find the right orange ink.  One was too light the other was too harvesty.  I need a pretty Summer orange ink pad.  Any recommendations?
