I used Latina Crafter's stamp set, "Mi Flor Favorita" I won on their blog hop.   I used both the sketch and photo inspiration on their blog, images and links below.

 I stamped the large flower with blue chalk ink and then embossed to give it texture.  I created the pink flowers with the small flower stamp; I cut a couple of petals on two of the stamped flowers, then layered them to create the dimensional flowers.

Be Joyful Always

I used three different stamp set by The Stamps of Life; Butterfly2Build, Praises4Him and Branches4Flowers.
Using the flowers from Branches4Flowers set, I stamped the background paper and created the yellow and blue flowers next to the sentiment.  I used Purple Cows, Summer Punch It to create the corners.  The music and chevron papers are by My Mind's Eye and Echo Park.

Fresh Brewed Designs Blog Hop

It is that time again! Time for another Fresh Brewed Designs rubber release and hop!  If you are getting here from Vanessa's blog then you are right on track. If not, please go to the start at Freshly Brewed Challenges.

It's all about Brides and Babies this month! I have heard so many of my friends talk about celebrating new marriages, anniversaries, and just announced pregnancies. We are so excited to release a few stamps to help celebrate these occasions. Our stamps this month are simple and classic. We are releasing Beautiful Bride and Baby Bump. You can purchase these rubber stamps singly in the shop OR for this hop only, get the both stamps and four sheets of 4x6 paper {American Craft Letterbox Madam} for an amazing deal of $10! This deal will end Monday night at midnight.

For my card I chose to use the stamp, Beautiful Bride.  The color combo along with the damask pattern will be used on wedding invitations.  I'm working backwards here, but not to worry, the invites are due until September. LOL
The damask paper is from a digital kit by Sherry K Designs.  You can't tell on the picture, but I brushed on Inspiration Fairy Dust paint.  I colored the bouquet and the flowers on her headpiece with Bic Mark Its and added glitter.  The red roses by Recollections.
Additionally, I embossed the black paper using a damask pattern made by The Paper Studio.

I created the card for online friend using the stamp set I won at Latina Crafter, Mi flor favorita (My Favorite Flower).
Lots of fuzzy cutting but I loved how the flowers turned out! The pink paper is Echo Park, also from my winnings, and My Mind's Eye.

Happy Mother's Day!!

This is the card I made for my Mother-in-law. The image is from Paper Makeup Stamps, Brandt (I love you in sign language).
I punched the background paper lace using Purple Cows Autumn Punch It.  Stamped the butterflies from Making Memories Flutter stamp set.  I additionally, stamped the edges with Purple Cows Roll It heart stamp.  You have to look closely to see the hearts on the edges....super cute!
The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life's, FancyLabel4You stamp set.  The twine is Grape Fizz by Trendy Twine.

Aww! Rainbows and kites make me happy!  Sorting through my stamps I came across the stamp set by Latina Crafter,  "Hoy es tu día" (Today is Your Day).
Not only do they sell Spanish stamps, they have the cutest image sets which include both English and Spanish sentiments. Gotta check them out!
All pattern papers are by Recollections.  The kite is from The Stamps of Life, Kites2Fly stamp set.

Bloom with Happiness

I used a "new to me" Stampin Up set, Blooming with Happiness (2006).  I colored the dress with Bic Mark Its and used Spellbinders Die #S4-291.  If you look closely, you can see I added faux pearls using Viva's Pearl Pen.  I stamped the background pink paper with my dollar stamps by Scrappy Cat....love my dollar stamps! LOL

I was inspired to use my Lawn Fawn Petite stack from Missy's card.  I also got to use MME Happier collection, both purchased at Ginger Snap Scraps.  Corri always has fantastic deals!

Happy Mother's Day {Freebie}

This is the card I created for my Mom.  I mug of all her "quirky" kids.....can you guess which one is me?   The stamp is retired Halloween stamp by Simply Betty Stamps.

Ok let's start with the left to right, bottom row:  The guy wearing the green shirt is my brother Robert, young at heart and spoiled rotten.  The middle holding the pink rose, my sister Letty, always with her hair brushed back and always wears lipstick.  Casanova holding the red rose is my brother Alfonso; right behind him is my "cutsy" sister Lucy.  In the middle is the oldest and serious sister Consuelo.  Ok so did you guess right?  The one with all the hair, wearing purple is me....thinking, "get me outta here. I don't belong with these crazies!!" LOL!!  I'm sure my Mom will know exactly who is who.

I've been tiding up my room and found the image stamp in my stash.  This is the first time I've used both stamps....oops!  I purchased the image stamp at Big Lots for a couple of bucks, but there is no marking by the manufacturer.  The sentiment is a dollar stamp by Studio G.  The pattern paper by Recollections 6x6 Holiday stack.
