St. Patrick's Day Card

Seeing green yet? It's time to start those St. Patrick's Day projects. Here is the card I created using Rinea's Metallics Variety Pack and Emerald/Gold Glossy foiled paper.

Supplies:
I trimmed the Emerald/Gold Glossy to 4.25" x 3" and used the scraps, the Gold Glossy side, to cut the lace borders.
I then used the Gold Starstruck to cut the background shadow of the word "happy" and the "happy" with the Emerald/Gold Glossy.
Next, I trimmed the 8.5" x 11" white card stock to create a tent style card.

.
I adhered Petaloo's flowers with hot glued and added Glossy Dots to the flower centers.

I stamped the word "St. Patty's" with Pink & Main's Clickable stamp set.

Lastly, I wrapped the gold floss and green twine to the top of the tent card and tied a bow and added a couple of gold Glossy Dots.

What type of St. Patrick's Day projects do you create?
Thank you for visiting and happy crafting.

Leisure Arts - Coloring Therapy

Coloring: back to basics and therapeutic too.

I was fortunate to meet the representatives from Leisure Arts at Creativation last month. They gave me the 30 Pack Premium Colored Pencils, Birthday Coloring Note Cards and Thank You Coloring Note Cards so let's color!

The 30 Pack Premium Colored Pencils includes the perfect shades of purple, my favorite color. The colors are gorgeous! They are perfect for blending and shading.

I would have preferred a heavier paper weight on the note cards, but the paper did take the color beautifully.

This is my favorite design, luckily there are 2 of each design included in each note card pack.

I believe a coloring session is order. I will be getting my sisters together very soon to color. It's so relaxing! Now off to find my pencil sharpener and finish off this beauty.

Leisure Arts generously donated the following Prize Package;
24 Colored Pencils, Birthday Coloring Note Cards and Thank You Coloring Note Cards!
Please leave a comment below and I will announce the winner on February 28th on this post. US Residents only please.

 UPDATE: The winner is......

Perfect Blend - Pink and Main February Release

Pink and Main's latest release is now available and they are the cutest stamps! I created a tent style card with the Perfect Blend stamp set and coordinating die set.

I trimmed a 8.5" x 11" white cardstock at 4.25" and scored at 5.5" to create the tent card. I then took the heart pattern paper from the Spring Color Pop 6" x 6" pad and trimmed it to 4.25" x 5.5".
Next I trimmed a 2" x 4.25" border from the black and white plaid paper.

I used Spellbinders' Prizm to die cut the Heart Borders and the 1.5" x 2.75" Stitched Rectangular Die and stamped the sentiment with the Fountain Surface Ink.

The plan was to use the Double Stitched Heart, but I changed my mind. Instead, I used the Scallop and Stitched Circle die set. I then added a rosette, lots of dimension but I love it.

To create the rosette I trimmed 3 strips to 1.5" x 6 and scored at every .25" and put it together with hot glue. I then layered the scallop, circle and the adorable mouse in the cup!

I finished the card with a teal bow and I think it turned out so cute!

Almost forgot to mention, I colored the cute mouse image with Spectrum Noir markers and although the camera didn't capture it, I added a bit of shimmer with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter pen.

I hope you enjoyed my card and don't forget to check out the full release here. Thank you for visiting.

Thank you mini gift set with #Rinea

Did you know the 3D Rolled Star Die Set makes a beautiful flower? Let me show you how. You will need 2 sheets of the Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper in 6" x 12" and the small 3D Rolled Star Die, full list of supplies listed below. Cut 12 pieces of the small 3D Rolled Star Die on the Spellbinders Prizm die cutter, then fold each "petal" in half. Using the hot Glue Pen, adhere each layer in the center. Then fluff the petals to create a pom-pom flower.

I cut out the word "Thanks" using the scraps from the "flower" and created a small note card.

I added a strip of Gold/Gold Glossy across the box and glued the pom pom flower to the top of the mini gift box.

This little thank you gift set is ready! To create the box, please follow the origami instructions here.

I hope you enjoyed my pom pom flower. What will you create? A 3D Rolled Star or a pom pom flower?
Thank you for visiting and happy crafting.
