How Neat is That Hop! {CLOSED}

Welcome to the How Neat is That Hop and to my blog!  You should've arrived from Amy's blog, Love to Crop, if you want to start from the beginning, please visit Monica.

We were asked to create an interactive card and I choose to make a pop-up card, which I have never created.  It's a birthday card for my Mom, her bday is next week :)
Here's what I came up with:

  • Paper:  DCWV Summer Dream
  • Bling: Gems by Darice and K&Co., German Glass Glitter by Meyer-Import
  • Ribbon: Michael's dollar bin
  • Stamps: Flower by Hampton Art, Happy Birthday by BasicGrey
The pop-up butterfly and the top note are from Penny Duncan.  She has amazing files!  I cut the butterfly using packaging acetate.  I added Aleene's Fast Grab Glue to the edges and springled on the German glass glitter.  This glitter is GORGEOUS!  It's a chunky glitter at 70 grit, love it!

Your next stop is the super talented Brynn from Flair & Frills!

Here's my blog candy, 5yds of each color.  Please leave a comment, I will choose a winner on Monday, August 1st.

Cricut Cake @ BL

I found the Cricut Cake Expression at Big Lots for $140!  I think this is the cheapest I've seen it!  I didn't purchase one, just sharing. :)

March P-12

I fell behind with my Project 12 pages, but I will get caught up.

Here's the sketch I followed:

Why Cuatro Dos?  Well, it was inspired by OchoCinco, the football player. LOL!  CuatroDos {42} is how old I turned in March.  The young lady in the yellow is my sweet Dulce.  Look at those eyes, she's beautiful!  She made my birthday cake to look like a scrapbook.  Of course I had to use purple my favorite color.  The color combo was inspired by a livingroom display at World Market & my new blog colors.. :)  I didn't affix my journalling, I will do that later.

Did lots of inking on this layout.  I also inked the edges of the flowers.

  • Paper:  DCWV Summer Dreams, Recollections All Girl, DCWV Lemon Flower
  • Ribbon: Dreams by Fancy Pants, Purple Twine by Whisker Graphics
  • Punch:  Tulips by EK Success
  • Die Cut:  The top note is by SVG Cuts Strawberry Lane Collection, for $5.99, it's jammed packed with great designs.

This little piggy went to market...

and these little piggies want you to eat more chicken!  Made 16 for a swap.  They are meant to go with a BBQ title someone else made.  Check out those ham hocks!

I used the girl piggie from the Hogs N Kisses collection and instead of a chocolate kiss, I used the chicken drumstick from BBQ Time collection.  Both collections are by Paper Crafting World.
