Palabriando {LC SOTW}

Here's my layout using Latina Crafter's Stamp of the week along with some other fun LC stamps!  This week's SOTW is May's release, El mejor en el mundo {The best in the world} a stamp set that is perfect for Father's Day or for your special guy.  I used it on a Smash page for my special guy, the hubbs.  I stamped the sunburst and the backside of a duplicate wood chip and did the same on the arrow.  The paper is by Simple Stories, love this paper. :)  I stamped the viewmaster photo reel from the stamp set, Review, also a LC stamp set. The wood talk bubble and paper clip are my winnings from Freckled Fawn.  The title "palabriando" is Spanish slang for, conversation.

Happy Father's Day {LC SOTW}

Today is Stamp of the Week Friday with Latina Crafter.  We are featuring the "Super Papá" {Super Dad}. The card is for my brother, he'll be celebrating his first Father's Day.  I stamped the sentiment on "Nubes Habladoras"  {Talk Bubbles}.  I wanted a techie card so I used the cell phone paper from DCWV Generation Tech.  The talk bubble paper is a new-to-me paper by KI Memories, (2007).  It's still available to purchase here.

Life is Good

I am reminded on this day how extremely good life really is.  How God has showered us with His blessings.  Even when the outcome is not what we expect, I know it's a journey He has planned for me, for us.  This day {March 4, 2013} was a difficult one. The journey unknown; the destination unknown.  I'm learning to listen to the still voice, trust in Him, not to fall apart when things seem to crumble around me.  I had help leading to this day, I asked my prayer warriors to pray for us and they did.   I am truly thankful for them and for having such a merciful God.  Life is good because God is good.

This is an excerpt of my journal hidden behind the photo mat.  I created the tag a few weeks back for this page and I finally got it done. I used Fresh Brewed Designs Latte Love and other fun embellies on the tag.  Thanks for stopping by today. :) :)

Heartstring Designs Wow Wednesday #7

I love this photo! All paper used is from the kit with the ***exception of the ticket stamp and cutting patterns.*** The flowers were cut using Designs on Cloud 9 Fun Flowers and the scallop border from Fran's Fancy Borders.  The ticket stamp, Trust Always, by Latina Crafter.

FBD May Stamp Release

Welcome to Fresh Brewed Designs May Rubber Stamp Release and Blog Hop! We are so happy to have you hopping along with us today! Scraproom Tour

Craftin' Desert Divas is hosting a linking party, show them your scraproom.  Here's a video of my happy place, unorganized and totally messy, but nevertheless my happy place. :) :)

The rolling bin made it into the room. I placed all of my cardstock in the bottom bins. The top bin holds my Unity stamps and for now, a basket of ribbon. The shower caddy is filling up too. I will need to get back to organizing it later tonight. The video took hours to upload and I'm tired! LOL!

Fabulous Friend, Husband {LC SOTW}

Today is Stamp of the Week Friday with Latina Crafter.  We are featuring the "Chico de mi vida" {Guy in my life} stamp.   I also really needed to play with my stamps today.  Pulled out my arsenal of LC stamps and went to town.  The words "fabuloso", "amigo" and the ticket are all from the feature stamp set.  All other stamps used are linked below.
The pattern papers are from Heartstrings  February's Kit Sweet Essence, I won in a blog hop.

The photos are of our 10th anniversary dinner at Macaroni Grill.  We got married on 2/15/03, note I circled the numbers on the bingo card.  Due to my husband's work schedule, we celebrated on 3/9.  

I want to point out, I stamped the grid/graph stamp on the glassine bag with Staz On ink, works like a charm especially on a smooth paper.  I requested the stamp a couple of months ago and super happy to have it in my hands!!  You'll be seeing a lot  more of it. :)

Here you can see the right page before laying down my photos....I'm sick!  I used my scraps as much as possible because in my sick head I think I don't have enough paper.  Geez!
