Enjoy Every Day #DCWV

Today I am sharing a card using DCWV's Premium Paper Collection Black and Gold.  The gold foil on black lettering is simply gorgeous and I just love the phrases; Be Happy & Enjoy Every Day - You're Awesome - Best Day Ever

The card measures 5"x7" and with the help of my Cricut, I was able to design my card using their software.

When I came across this stamp set in my stash, I knew it would be perfect to use with this Collection. The stamp set is from Close To My Heart and I'm pretty sure it's retired.
I didn't want to cover the beautiful gold foiled stripes, so I stamped the phrase on vellum paper from the 6"x6" Foiled Vellum Stack and adhered it with Scor-Pal tape.  Here's a close up of the card.

Father's Day #LatinaCrafter

Happy Tuesday, today I'm on the Latina Crafter blog with the following Father's Day card using their May Kit.

I used the eyeglass stencil, one of the four stencils included in the kit, with blue modeling paste.  I then stamped  Papá and carefully hand cut it, omitting the 'P' because I call my Dad "Apa", equivalent of  Dad = Pa.   The cork, wood veneer heart, canvas tag, wood star embellishments are included in the kit.

Feliz día del Padre is from the Super Papá stamp set and it's not included in the kit.

Thank you for visiting today and don't forget to celebrate the special guy in your life this Father's Day.

Latina Crafter 4th Birthday

Welcome and Happy Birthday to Latina Crafter!! I am your last stop of this Epic Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Peggy's blog.  If you want to start from the beginning, please visit LC's blog.

I hope you didn't fill up on donuts at LC's blog??  I am so excited to be sharing my first project using the new Siphon adaptor for the eBrush.

I created a stencil with the Latina Crafter logo, of course I got permission first.  I created two separate stencils, one with the logo and the other that reads "happy birthday" in Spanish.  I designed and cut them on the Cricut Explore.

Here is a look at the cut out stencil.

This project was a labor of love!!  It was team effort!! Special thanks to my sister, GodDaughter and GodSon for the baking lesson.  I now know how to bake a delicious cake and whip up the most amazing frosting!!

Now onto the eBrushing!  I used the well attachment and used icing food coloring diluted with vanilla extract.  I tested the food coloring on a paper towel to make sure I was happy with the colors.  Make sure you keep extra towels on hand in case you need them.  Now we are ready to eBrush!

Here is the birthday cake!

The cake is 18", double layered, vanilla creme with bananas! Yum!!

I previously created the eBrushed pendant banner.  Details on the banner can be found here.

Diana, best birthday wishes from California!! Wishing Latina Crafter many more birthdays and many blessings my dear friend!

Here is my GodDaughter blowing out the candles on behalf of Latina Crafter! Happy Birthday Latina Crafter! ¡Feliz Cumpleaños Latina Crafter!

My GodChildren cutting the cake!  Who wants a slice of birthday cake? Anyone want coffee?

Sugar coma!

EPIC BIRTHDAY PRIZES!!! We don't want you to miss out on the prizes!! Please follow the rules listed on LC's blog

June Challenge #LatinaCrafter

Translation: Passing by to greet you

New challenge is up and running with Latina Crafter.  We are playing with a sketch and a twist to use a bicycle in our projects.  I used LC's stamp set and My Minds Eye Adventure paper.

I cut the arrows on the Cricut Explore Air, embellished with a wood veneer banner and enamel dots.

Here is the sketch and the twist.  I hope you join us this month.

Fresh Start!

Hello June. A new month. A fresh start. The half way mark and a new planner.

Actually it's my first Design Team planner. It's been a challenge for me to get organize with my crafty assignments so when I saw Regina's post about a new DT Planner, I rushed over to check it out.
It's the perfect solution for me. It's a printable planner available at The Cutting Cafe and you choose the sections you want to print, print extra copies as needed and best of all, choose pretty paper to put it together. I've been hoarding We R Memory Keepers' Chalkboard paper for a long time now and it's perfect for my planner. Love how it turned out.

The DT Planner includes a pocket SVG which I cut on the Cricut Explore Air and included them on most of my dividers.  Most of the pages are printed on  65 Lb. white cardstock and used The Cinch to bind it together.  Love love this planner.  Thanks Regina for designing a great planner.
