Thanksgiving
is almost here! All month I have been writing in my Gratitude journal for everything I am thankful. As I sat at the kitchen table, I looked towards the mantel and realized it was missing something. I quickly realized it was in much need of a banner; a simple reminder of the season, be Thankful.
Today, I am sharing the Thankful Banner featuring the Sweater Weather 6"x6" stack.
Today, I am sharing the Thankful Banner featuring the Sweater Weather 6"x6" stack.
Here is a list of items you will need:
1. DCWV Sweater Weather 6" x 6" stack
2. Mini clothespins
3. Dimensional adhesive
4. Wire garland or twine
5. Die cutting machine
6. Ink
7. Sponge dauber
Choose your favorite patterns, I chose patterns that will coordinate with my existing decor on the mantel, setting aside the wood grain pattern paper to cut the letters.
Using my Cricut, I sized a triangle to fit the 6" x 6" paper and cut 8 triangles.
I used the Copper Black font, sized the letters to fit 4 onto one sheet of 6" x 6" paper.
If you do not own a cutting machine, you can hand cut the triangles and letters.
Next, ink up the sponge dauber and ink the edges of all the cuts.
Add dimensional adhesive to the letters and place one on each triangle.
Use the mini clothespins to attach onto the wire garland or twine.
This is a super quick project to make; you can easily make this banner less than 30 minutes.
Add the banner to your mantel, dining area or if you are serving Thanksgiving dinner buffet style, dress up the buffet table with the banner.
I hope you enjoyed my project.
I want to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving;
be Thankful.
Abundant Blessings,
Yolie
