Happy Monday! So excited to show Rita Barakat's newest Art Foamie Princess. Measuring in at 4" x 4.75" she is not only beautiful, but the perfect size for card making and art journal.
I used Ken Oliver's Color Burst to create a watercolor background. When using Color Burst powder, make sure to gently tap the bottom of the bottle onto your water color paper. Don't squeeze unless you are looking for a heavy pigmented water color background.
After the Color Burst dried, I inked the Art Foamie Princess with black Memento ink. I used a black Le Pen Drawing pen to scribble the frame.
I colored in her eyes with a brown alcohol marker so she wouldn't get lost.
I then splattered gold metallic ink masking off her face. Adding the "keep believing" was an after thought. The full sentiment did not fit on the card, so I masked it off and only stamped "keep believing".
I added white pearly sequins and she was complete. She is gorgeous and I can't wait to add her to my art journal.
