Sparkle Mermaid #ritabarakat

Hello and welcome! Can't believe Summer is almost here and you know what that means....it's gonna be Mermaid Season! Today I am sharing a fun mermaid card using Rita Barakat's ephemera collection, Mermaid Tails.

I used trimmed off the white outline around the image and darken her skin with alcohol markers. I wanted the hair to flow, so I cut into the waves of her hair. I gently curled her hair and added pop dots to raise the wavy hair.
I wanted the appearance of her under the sea, so if you look closely, I strategically added pop dots to hips but kept her tail flat onto the card.

I used dove tail banner dies to die cut and a circle tag die.  I used an ombre ink pad and stamped the sentiment onto the tag. I embellished with sequins throughout and added a bit of silver floss.
