#DCWV Foil & Kraft Christmas

On my recent trip to Joann's I found the Christmas Winter Foil & Kraft box of cards on sale for 60% off, making $4 for the box of 40 cards with envelopes.  Seems like it's only available at the store and not online, at least I couldn't find it in my searches.  It has 5 of each 8 different patterns and seriously the foil is gorgeous!

I embellished the cards with a gold foil bow.  I used DCWV 6x6 foil paper and cut them with Maggie Holme's bow die.  I was able to cut 4 bows out of a sheet of 6x6 paper and had enough for the back strip.  I want to share a tip,  when adhering foil on foil, use glue dots instead of a runner tape or liquid glue.  I made a mess out of the first bow I tried putting together with liquid glue.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend, see you next time.  Thanks for stopping by.

The paper is from DCWV Candy Cane Lane; the stamping and coffee cup wood veneer from Latina Crafter.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

These are the Mini Coffee Treat Cups I created for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I used DCWV Christmas Letter papers and Latina Crafter's stamps and dies. The 4oz. cups are styrofoam, because I couldn't find the paper cups everyone else is using.  I found them at a local grocery store, Smart & Final.  The pack is a set of 50; both the cups and lids were under $6.

I sliced open one of the cups, scanned and converted the file to a SVG.  Took a bit of time, but now I have the pattern for future use.

I used coffee stirrers to attach the mini banner and trimmed off about 1/3 so it wouldn't puncture the K-Cups.

#pinkandmain December Sneak Peek

It's a little bit of challenge thinking of Valentine's in December, but it will be here right after Christmas.  Well, at least at my local craft stores.  Here is a sneak peek of Pink and Main's Hearts stamp set.  The set has 14 images and 4 sentiments on a 4"x6" sheet.  I used the hearts stamps to create the background in the heart cut-out.  I love the loopy "love" stamp too!

I shared the two of the three planner stamps on Facebook today.  December stamps will be available soon.  Here is a photo:

Stay tuned for more sneak peeks.

Thank you for stopping by today.
