And of course this is his birthday card. I had the perfect scrap of chalkboard paper, just enough for his card. I stamped portions of the lyrics of the "Las Mañanitas" song, similar to the "birthday" song, but in Spanish.
Everything is stamped with Close To My Heart White Daisy Ink. But before I stamped I chalked up my fingers and smeared chalk on the paper. Added burlap scraps and corrugated paper by DCWV, I love the rustic color, goes perfect with the chalkboard. I hope my Dad likes it. :)
