Take Flight

When is the last time you flew a kite?  I was about 8 or so and oh how I loved it!!  My brother and I took turns running the kite...such sweet memories. {sigh}  This should be a page in my Smash book, yes it will be in my book.

This week's Paper Makeup Challenge theme is Take Flight.  I used Lea's Kite digital stamp for my Spring card.  I hope you join us.  Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, I love, love, love this, Yolie! A simple kite made for such an awesome card! Your layers and sketch are perfect, and those cheery spring colors so wonderful! This card totally made my morning! :0)
Last time I flew a kite was with my son, when he was six. It was a crazy day, and we really had no business trying to fly a kite because it was much too windy, but having been a single working mom at the time, free time was limited, so we made a go of it, anyhow. lol! We weren't on the field long because the wind was just too much for our cheap-y little kites. :( It was fun, though, in a silly, crazy way! lol!

Beautiful card, I really like the layout you've used.

Last time flying a kite was when our son was about 3 and it got stuck in my father in-laws neighbor's tree. Little did we know then we'd be living in this home after my father in-law passed away. Memories!

Hugs, Lori m

I totally love this. Blue being my favorite color, I love how you've used it with these other fabulous colors.
