Pink Thanksgiving

So I challenged the LUFP DT to create Pink cards for the upcoming holidays. Esther created the cutest pink Turkey card and this is my Pink Thanksgiving card. I embossed the background with a roller stamp I got at Marshall's for 3 buckaroos. Great deal since it came with a brayer and two harvest designs.  I followed a tutorial by Angie to create the weaved wreath.  It took me several tries but I finally got it.

¡feliz navidad! - LC Stamp of the Week

 Latina Crafter's stamp of the week is "Outline ABC":

I first lightly penciled a line for alignment of the letters, used a glue pen and sprinkled on the green glitter.  I embossed the second layer; added a wide ribbon I purchased at Michael's for a buck.  The stars were clearance from last season...a nice final touch!

I also used the same set to create my title on my Day 4 of Gratitude:

Here's another Thanksgiving card using a free digital image from Sassy Studio Designs.  They offer a free digital image every Friday in their Paper Craft Planet group.  Sassy Studio also has a Guest Designer call for December click here for the details.

I used my first ever MS border punch to enter the Fancy Edges challenge.  I'm also entering a fun challenge, No Pattern Paper.  Pretty happy how the card turned out.  The sentiment is by Latina Crafter, translation, Happy Thanksgiving.

So I've been practing my coloring with the Spectrum Noir pens.  I purchased a few sets at Joann's and love them!  They are perfect for my budget.  I need more practice coloring and plan on getting all of them.  Have you heard about Crafter's Companion is having a Christmas Party on December 1st?  If you live in Southern Calfornia, I'll see you there! Happy Thanksgiving - Guest Designer

I am thrilled to be Guest Designing for 3 Girl Jam today!!  I got the most beautiful hand-dyed ribbon to play with; Harvest Orange and Sunflower.

I used the Harvest Orange my card, but you'll be seeing the Sunflower on a upcoming project very soon.  The paper is by My Mind's Eye, All Spice.  The stamped image and sentiment from Latina Crafter.  This is the first time I used a stamp and die combo....I'm in love! I used the "Labels para Navidad" stamp set with matching die and "Dando Gracias" for the sentiment, which translates to "Happy Thanksgiving".
