We celebrated my Dad's birthday yesterday. His b-day is on Thursday he'll be 72. Both my parents love to garden, between both of them, they have 4 green thumbs! On Father's day I made a wreath with packets of seeds, got the inspiration from
here. He planted the radish and the pumpkins, it was too late for the others but he will plant when it's time. The wreath is the fourth picture on the slideshow.
The last pic is my dad with a pumpkin that was growing in the front yard, up until last week when a kid tried to steal it. He thought he can grab it and go, not realizing it was still on the vine. My dad was so proud of it too! Oh well, he does have others growing in the back yard, along with tomatoes and chiles!
Now for the card, I used My Scrapchick's, Harvest Bears Collection. The sign translation is simple, "Mata Garden". I had so much fun cutting this lil guy! I chalked all the edges, which I think I like better than inking them. I cut the tag using shadow and used pop dots so the tag slides in/out. I also included some cash for him.
