#pinkandmain Mister

This card came together nicely with the help of a kit.  My little mistake also turned out great.  I tried using a tape runner to adhere the cork and it tore.  I like it!

I used one of the NEW January Release stamp sets from Pink & Main; Mister.
For a glance at the new stamps, follow Pink & Main on Instagram or Facebook. They will be available to purchase soon. :)

I cut the gable boxes on my Cricut using a free SVG file using DCWV Candy Cane Lane stack {Christmas paper}.  I scored the boxes using the Scor-Pal.

I assembled the boxes using 1/4" Scor-Tape.

I decorated the box with strips of paper and added 3/8" knotted edge ribbon from May Arts. I stamped the tag using the stamp set included in Latina Crafter's December Kit. I added a bow using 1/4" black chevron ribbon and attached a mini clothespin.
And for the final touch, I decorated the tag with DCWV Adhesive Glass Hearts. Here's how they turned out:

Insta Fun Mini Book #DCWV

Today I am sharing a mini accordion album from the new Insta Photo Fun collection.  This mini Kraft album has pink foil through out the pages and measures 4.5"x4.5".  It's one of the fastest and easiest mini books I've put together.

The collection of Insta Photo Fun is available at Joann's stores and their online site. I hope you have enjoyed my mini book.  Thank you for stopping by.

Feliz Día de Reyes

Happy Three Kings day! Day of Epiphany! Mexican tradition and most of Latin America calls to leave a shoe out for the Kings to leave a gift. I did last year, but they skipped over me.  This year I made sure I got a gift.  My dear husband unknowingly purchased a crafty grab bag.  Ok maybe it was me, but I got a gift from the Three Wise Men!

The above card is for my GodSon.  I used Latina Crafter stamps, linked below and DCWV Gold Christmas box of cards; they are no longer available, but I found the Kraft & Gold set that is very similar to it here.  The banner is also from DCWV Gold 6"x"6 Cardstock.
I heat embossed the image using Stampendous gold embossing folder.

I have been searching for the gold doilies currently at Target, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.  I instead decided to paint white doilies with Folk Art acrylic paint, Extreme Glitter.
Here's another look at the card.  I hope you had a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by.

#DCWV January Sketch

Don't put away your Christmas paper yet!  I am putting DCWV Candy Cane Lane stack to good use.  The color combo and pattern papers are perfect for Valentine's Day crafts.  It's also a great stack for Disney scrapbook pages.  Set aside the obvious Christmas patterns and you can get a lot of this stack.

Today starts a new challenge at DCWV Blog, the January Stackaholic Sketch challenge designed by yours truly.  I love layers, so this month, I loaded up on layers.  Besides, it's a great way to use up those scraps.

I also went "old school".  I used one of the first Cricut cartridges I own, Graphically Speaking.  It's the cartridge that's always on Bonnie Blue in order to use SCAL.  I used the "note book" page and "u r here" graphic which I totally love.

Here are the sketches:
