Welcome to the 3rd stop of the Dreaming Tree blog hop! I'm so excited to be participating in today's hop featuring Dreaming Tree's designs! So let's get to it because I know you have things to and people to see, blog hops to hop, but before we start, if you want to start the hop from the beginning, please start with Michael.
I chose to create with the crown design from Dreaming Tree's newest collection, King of the Castle.
I used gold and brown shimmer paper. The embossed pattern paper is from DCWV's The Treasures Stack.
My intent was to leave the embossed pattern paper as is, but I broke out the Copper Kettle Metallic Lustre and the metallic Light Patina paint. It completely changed the look and I love it.
I resized the crown to be worn by my Dad on Father's Day. Here it is:
This photo captured the embossing, shimmer and the patina copper!
UPDATE: The winner of the Dreaming Tree $10 gift certificate is......... Comment #135
- I hope your dad enjoys being "King" of the day!
Claudia, please use the contact form tab to email me so I can send you the certificate.
