Notice the ridges on the side of the cake, they are meant to be pages....the cake measures 12"x12"! How cool is that!
Pictures of me with my sisters, my Godson A.C., Irene and me with a serious case of the frizzies, and the bottom right, Dulce, Irene and yours truly.
She even created the binding!
All the pictures were printed on sugar paper and everything on the cake was edible.
My sisters, left to right: Consuelo, Lucila, Leticia, and the cute tall one is me! LOL
And here's the 12 year old creative genious that created the cake!!
The cake was super moist and delicious!!
Moving "heads" on different bodies. :)

1st off, that cake is incredible! Then I noticed some other details which make this so perfect! A scrapbook designed cake is super personalized. I was imagining the cake as a special scrapbook page (a real one!). Then having the cake on scrapbook papers as the base. When I saw the pics with the same page just below the cake, I was floored! That is an incredible detail I never would have thought of! And finally when I read the fabulous cake-maker is a 12 year old? I'm off my chair! At 12, I would have been lucky to make a basic (very basic) cake... This is absolutely fab-u-lous! What an awesome memory!
ReplyDeleteAnd just so you know, I found your blog today when searching for anniversary clipart/ideas. I am now a huge fan! I have also marked your cake as an idea for my own future use for someone special. I am the scrapbooker in the family, but this idea (esp the part with the same pic under the cake) can definately be a hit for so many cakes! I am reeling with ideas!
Thank you so much for posting such amazing posts on your wonderful blog!
