I'm a follower ... sorry to hear that you're sick. A nagging cough.... I'd try honey and lemon in tea, peanut butter will coat throat also....those are a few I did with my little one minus the tea... we don't let him drink it. Congratulations!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you are not feeling well. I usually take Robitussin and that helps. But as for a home remedy, My hubby likes hot water, honey, lemon and a little cayenne pepper. Hope this helps and feel better! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're sick! I usually do the hot tea with honey and lemon. Or honey on a spoon with lemon squeezed onto it, then just licked off. The kids like that one.
ReplyDeleteBeing sick is the pits! Before bedtime put Vicks Vapor rub on your feet and put socks on (so your sheets don't get messy), that way you can at least sleep in peace! You can contact me on fb if I win :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that your not feeling well hope you feel better soon. Happy Birthday in advance and congrats on all your followers.

Congrats on your followers & Birthday. I am so sorry that you are not feeling well. I just got over sickness also. I make a chicken broth with dumplings that my mom taught me and lots of lemon tea. Always makes me feel better! Get well soon.

Sorry to hear you are feeling under the weather, here's hoping you get well soon. I don't have a favorite drug of choice for cough, but for a stuffy nose I can't live without Afrin. Use it once or twice a day max for about 2 or 3 days, and it helps you breath so easy. Don't let a nagging cough turn into bronchitis, you may want to get it checked.

Sorry you haven't felt well, try some hot tea with a little lemon for the cough. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteHoney is great for revealing coughs, it's good in tea but works better straight from the spoon. Congrats on 600 followers. I am one of your followers.

Gargle with salt water and leave the dairy go. That's my motherly advice. :-)
ReplyDelete600 is a nice round number! Congrats.
Sorry your sick. I would suggest hot tea.
ReplyDeleteyep Honey is the way to go ,its naturally antibacterial and soothing :)I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh Yolie...feel better may sweet friend! My remedy...rest, Vick's vapor rub, turtle neck or sweatshirt, pineapple juice (soothes a sore throat), and tea with honey and lemon juice. As Cindy said, NO TO THE DAIRY and chocolate (caffine in it thickens mucus and makes things worse). Hugs my sister.
ReplyDeleteI hate being sick and hope you feel better soon. Cough...humidifier with watkins menthol added to the water, works for my granddaughter
ReplyDeletecongrats on your followers. get well soon and happy birthday. hugs
ReplyDeleteOh no Yolie. I hope you can get rid of it quick. I suggest Vicks on your feet at night with an old pair of socks over it. Crazy but it works.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you have a cough I use a little honey and lemon (with a side of vodka) LOL!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Debi
Hope you get better Yolie! And happy birthday and follower day! I have been following you for about a month. My husband had this cold that lasted forever. We used the generic form of DayQuil/Night Quil. It helped him sleep and helped him get rid of the cold! Get better. I want to see some of your great creations! You are an inspiration to me.
ReplyDeleteSorry you are not feeling well. Okay, for the remedy...my mother made this all the time when I was little and got sick. She would slice and onion and place it in a bowl & sprinkle it with sugar. You drink the juices. :) Congrats on your milestone. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are not feeling well - get better soon. My favorite remedy is plenty of rest (so hard to get).
ReplyDeleteHot Toddy, war bath, lots of rest!

Hey, sorry to hear that you are sick. I would say have a Hot Toddy or take some Theraflu severe cold, if that does not work try some Vick's Nyquil. Try to stay warm and get some rest. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteHappy B-day
Happy B-Day, we can celebrate together (mine's on the 24th) :) The best remedy...hot toddy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday on Friday!!! I hope you feel better soon. It looks like you passed 600 followers!! WAHOOOO FOR YOU!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHello Yolie, so sorry to hear you were under the weather.Hope you feel better soon.(I make me a little hot tea with some honey, brandy lemon)hope this help.Happy Pre-Birthday congrats on 600 + follower.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you caught a spring cold, Yolie! Yuck! I use Vixks on the chest and under the nose, and when my throat is really scratchy, I like to use a Eucalyptus soaked towel (some Eucalyptus oil in warm water in the sink, then just dunk and ring out the towel) wrapped around my neck. You can also heat the towel back up in the microwave when it gets cold. Eucalyptus oils are available at most health stores and even some of the big box stores (they often have the salts for the bath, and you can melt those in the water and it works, too).
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling a bit better by now but for me it has to be Olbas Oil's in all forms!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 600 followers and thanks for the chance to win.

My daddy always made me a hot totty to sooth the cough. Shot of whiskey (or just water will do), water, honey, and lemon juice. warm it all up and drink. I keep my cough drops by my bed so once I wake up from this shot then I can take those, and of course sleep sitting up!! I look funny but it works!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!

DELSYM for a nagging cough. Not a 'remedy" but it calms the cough and allows you to rest... and sleep IS the best remedy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Bithday!
Hope you are feeling better. I take Delsym for coughing. Probably bed rest would be a good way to get rid of your cold.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 602!!! You're da bomb, that's why, lol! Praying you feel better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteUgg not feeling well is no fun! I love alleve cold & sinus but for cough not much seems to help me. Feel better soon!...and I am a new follower ;-)

ReplyDeleteI love your blog and try to visit daily. I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. The remedy for a cough that I know to work is rubbing Vics or Soltice on the bottome of your feet and putting a pair of socks on. It always has seem to work. Hope you get to feeling better.

Just became a follower. This remedy is part medical(doctor) and part natural. Peppermint tea, w/Mullein tea, w/lemon and honey. The mullein is a natural expectorant. It will pull out any congestion. Also gargling w/salt water if it is a cough from a cold that is lingering.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you're feeling under the weather, hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower and would love to win this cartridge.
Big Hugs

Feel better soon. I too am suffering from a spring cold, but not sick enough to stay away from my computer. BTW, I'm a new follower too. =)
ReplyDeleteI stop by to show some love. Thanks for showing love on my blog. I did not know that your birthday is 2-morrow. How cool is that. I will put you on my prayer list for your cold and your birthday. Have a bless day. And congrates on 609
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon! There is nothing worse than a nagging cough. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting dear; your coments are always so kind. So sorry you´re sick, that makes our body ask for help, uh?
ReplyDeleteHere in Brazil we use to take hot tea with herbs, but I´m not sure there is it on US... Ubuprofen and a very good rest also help. Last week I was really sick and that help. Try do not talk much to relieve your throat.
I received a kind of tea from a american friend called "Traditional Medicinals - Organic Throat Coat" that´s not that good taste. but... they have a site: www.traditionalmedicinals.com from CA
Hope you get well soon, dear. Keep in touch.
