Diva and a challenge

I'm so honored to be February's Diva of the month over at Creative Scrapbooking Divas!  As diva of the  month, I get to choose this month's challenge.  My challenge is to create a card or layout using recycled materials.  Please note, if you are creating a layout, make sure it doesn't touch your photos or treat the item with Archival Mist.

Here's the card I created with recycled materials:

I saved the foil wrappers of Almond Roca candy because it had the cutest hearts, who knows how long I've had them; the chipboard was packaging material.

I cut the foil with my MM Slice, then used the shadow feature to cut the red scrap cardstock. I then used Inkadinkado Spray Paint to cover the chipboard. The brown polka dot paper is from scraps from another card. I punched the border using EK Success border punch, then I chalked the edges. The ribbon is self-adhesive by Joann's Crafts. I attached the chipboard and the hearts with pop dots. The sentiment was stamped on strip of scrap and inked the edges. I used The Stamps of Life using Fiskars ink. For the final touch, I added the rhinestones from Darice with Aileen's Fast Grab Glue.

If you wish to participate in the challenge, please become a member of Creative Scrapbooking Divas.  I will be offering a RAK and the winner will be selected on March 1st.
