Road Trip: New Mexico

I got to play with my new toy, Teresa Collin's Cut'N'Boss by Craftwell!  And I am so loving it!! The large embossing folders are gorgeous and the die set amazing!   I bought it when it debut on HSN and I may have signed up for the auto ship. ;)

I embossed the turquoise paper with the triangle embossing folder, love the deep impression.  I used the heart in circle die included in the bundle.  These are a few of the photos  taken in New Mexico on our recent road trip.  I used the new Tribal, Bordes Variados stamp sets from Latina Crafter.  I used the 2x2 die to crop the photos and cut the squares to stamp.  I embellished the page with the wood veneers and sequins found in the June Kit.  The washi tape is #65 and it also has a tribal motif.

I am also playing along with Creative Scrappers' Sketch #269. Thanks for stopping by.

3rd Annivesary Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Latina Crafter's Anniversary Blog Hop!  If you arrived from Joan's place, you're right on track.

Here is my labor of love:
Aquí está mi labor de amor:

Embroidery, cross stitch they are both the same to me.  I have only once tried cross stitch and I never completed my project.  This project was my first ever attempt to embroider and I am pretty happy with the results.   But I  must admit, at one point, I was going to ask my Mom to finish it up for me.  Yes, true story, but I decided to completed myself.  I can't wait to show it to her.

Here's what you'll need for this project.  Stamps, ink, fabric, 6" embroidery loom and embroidery floss {not pictured}.

Here's a tip for you, before stamping on fabric, clean the block of any ink.

At this point I was so glad I handled the stitch!  This is my first embroidery project ever and I am still amazed I got it done!

Happy Bee-Day

Today I tried a technique I've been wanting to try like forever; reverse stamping.  The stamp set has two cute bee images, but I really liked this bee.  It's a super easy technique to do.  Give it a try.
The stamp set is Bee Happy and the stamped label is from Stitched Greetings by Pink and Main.  Love how the honeycomb turned out too.

Hello Summer

Happy Saturday, today I'm sharing a Summer card using Pink & Main's Chalk Alpha, Flip Flops and Tab Alpha.  Summer is pretty much here, way too early, but hopefully she's kind and leaves early.

The new Chalk Alpha set is one of my favorite alpha sets.  Seriously.  Oh and that paper Summer Bliss paper from Echo Park has the cutest patterns!  I used a straw intended for a scrapbook page, but it got left out.  Found it on my desk along with the orange circle.  Love when that happens.
I played with a Retro Sketch, but realized the deadline was yesterday, oops.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

And here is the full June release!
