Día de Reyes Blog Hop {CLOSED}

I'm super excited to be participating on my very first blog hop, thank you Gaby for including me!
Growing up we didn't celebrate Día de Reyes, it was a tradition lost in translation, but when we found out there were gifts invovled, we gave it a try.  We decided to place our "big" shoes outside our parents bedroom, mind you I was about 12 and the oldest kids were teens.  We were hoping our Dad would put a little something, ah nope, we woke to our shoes been scattered across the hallway.  He must of tripped over them when he got up! LOL  It's wasn't sad, it was hilarious to us, because we know our Dad, we still laugh about it today.  So my sister, Letty, Dulce's mom, picked up the tradition with her kids.

Here's the Spanglish sign I created for her home, tradition calls for the kids to place their shoes out, but I included her shoe on the sign too!

Paper: DCWV Christmas '10, Recollections
Chipboard: more like cereal boxes
Adhesives: 3M 2-Way, Tombow, ATG Gun
Bling:  Stickles, Darice, Studio 112, Me & My Big Ideas
Ribbon: Michael's
Cartridges: Forever Young, Nifty Fifites
