#LatinaCrafter October Sketch

A day late sharing my take on this month's Latina Crafter sketch challenge, but here it is.  I discovered DCWV's Sunday Afternoon in a bin that is meant for other crafty goodies.  Really don't know how it got there, but I am sure glad I found it.  It has the cutest pattern paper.

The LC challenges always involve a sketch and most recently they have included a twist.  This month's twist is to use scallops.  I had planned on using the scallop stamp, but I couldn't find it.  I even searched the magical bin, but no luck.  Instead I used gold trim I purchased at Target's dollar spot.
I flipped the sketch and layered my paper bits.  The viewfinder is LC's metal die and the birthday sentiment is from Jessica's Favorite Sayings.  I embellished the card with some pretties from a previous LC grab box and that gold trim is from the jewelry section at Michael's.  Love venturing into that section, always some good finds.  It's by Bead Landing two ply cording.  The photo doesn't do it justice, but it really is a beautiful metallic gold.

Hope to see your creations linked and thanks for stopping by.  Here is the sketch and the products used linked to the shop:
