On this card I used papers by 7 Gypsies and My Mind's Eye. I did a countdown to the New Year on the side banner. Can't believe 2013 is just around the corner! Yikes! I finally used my mesh bling....Love it!! I need every color. :)
I have more projects scheduled to post tomorrow morning. They will post while I am out at the Crafter's Companion Christmas Party/Craft Show!! Yay!!
Below is the list of products I used to create my card available in the LC shop:
You know, I love that I am somewhat of a hoarder. I still have my circle cutting patterns from Creative Memories from several years ago, that is what I used to cut my circles. :) If you notice the Three Kings are sitting on a background I stamped "joy, love & peace". I used my Spectrum markers to color and added some glitter.
Paper is by Echo Park's This & That Christmas. I embossed the bottom portion of the card, added red pearls from Recollections. Love the ribbon! It was a great dollar find at Michael's. Below is the list of products I used to create my card available in the LC shop:
There are sketches to play with and some fun treats! Lots of Christmas ideas. Please join the fun in the Latina Crafter Facebook Group.
Here's my card using Sketch #1
Love the non-traditional Xmas papers from Echo Park's Merry & Bright collection. I attempted some machine stitching, not the greatest. LOL Below is the list of products I used to create my card available in the LC shop:
A jolly Christmas means tamales at my Mom's house! That's the only time we have them since they are a lot of work, so they tell me. LOL! My Mom is on the right, my sister Consuelo in the middle and my sister Letty (Dulce's Mom) eating a guayaba, trying to supervise when clearly I'm the supervisor and director. LOLNow onto my card.

Nah, not really! LOL! This week's TSB challenge is "Song Inspired". I created my card in early September and couldn't think of any Christmas songs that went with the Smoochie image, until I found the mistletoe song. LOL! The song is kinda cute and catchy.... With you, shawty with you With you, shawty with you With you under the mistletoe

Today is my very first post on the Latina Crafter blog, all by lonesome! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and are now getting ready for Christmas!
I created my card using LC's Sketch #17, there's still time to participate. I used Chica con regalo, (Girl with gift) she's a bilingual stamp set with sentiments in English too. The talk bubble is a stamp & die set Nubles habladoras, Talk Bubbles and the sentiment is from Labels de Navidad. I colored her using Spectrum Noir markers. I am loving these markers more and more, but realize my coloring skills need improvement; working on that. LC is now carrying the Spectrum markers in the shop, stop by and take a look. Oh I'm so in love with Cartabella papers! Love the texture and weight....must have more! You get a sampling of the papers in the Navidad Latina Kit, which reminds me, the event is this Saturday. It's similar to the World Card Making Day event....loads of fun!
This week's challenge at PMS is my favorite time of the year...Christmas! Remember you must use a digital image on your projects. I used one of the snowmen from the Snow Happy Collection. Sentiment from Docerela's Summertime stamp set and paper from My Mind's Eye.
I have lots to be thankful today!! Today is also my husband's birthday! He's turns the big 5-0! Happy Birthday my dear Michael!!! ♥
I used Latina Crafter's new stamp set with matching die along with a "Dando Gracias" Giving Thanks stamp set. I took a piece of scrap paper, folded and aligned the die to cut right above the fold-line to create a mini card. I punched the inside and strung Twine and used the twine as the pillow box closure. The pillow box was a free cutting file from Designs On Cloud 9; the maple leaf is in the Fall collection of the SCAL program; the Fall paper is by MAMBI.
