Amor y Belleza

No layers, only working with the cardbase is the challenge at Latina Crafter.  Here's my card, "Love and Beauty":

Love that camera!  It's from the Sonrie stamp set.  I created the flower using the leaf from Mi flor favorita stamp set.  Embellishments are allowed but I went easy on them and only added some itty bitty bling.

We are so happy that you are joining us today.  The Design Team and invited guests will share beautiful projects and most of all raise awareness.

Our sponsor today is Scrapbook Stamp Society .  One lucky winner will receive  a $12 voucher to Scrapbook StampSociety

We also played with a fantastic sketch designed especially for LUFP by Melissa Craig from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Here is my card:

I used Susie's Hope designed by Heather Valetin.   I also use the dotty and circle papers from the same kit.  The background rose paper is from the Dear Lizzy Nepolitan collection I purchased at Ginger Snap Scraps.  I stamped the bottom portion using Paper Smooches Hope stamp set.
The lace ribbon and twine are from my stash.
GIVEAWAY:  I'm giving away an assortment of clay flower embellies and twine.  Make sure to leave a comment on each stop for a chance to win.

Congrats!

This past weekend my brother and his wife announced they were pregnant with their first child!   Here's the card I created for them:

The Paper Smooches color combo worked out perfectly since my brother is an UCLA Bruin.  The bird and branch are Paper Smooches freebies.  The pattern papers are from TBAB's digital kit.  I didn't want to cover up the chevron paper so I broke out the blue American Crafts velum paper I've had forever and a day.   The blue ric rack ribbon is also ribbon I was hoarding; it's by Making Memories.
I created the circular sentiment; printed twice and popped the center.  I should have printed a little smaller...live and learn. :)

I finally got to create with Tangii the coffee fairy; love her cute outfit!  The sentiment is also by PMS. The pattern papers and the coffee images are from TBAB's printable digi kit.

Hot Blog Hop

Welcome to the July Fresh Brewed Designs Three Day HOT Blog Hop! . If you are just finding your way to our super HOT,  fun filled, extra caffeinated, and mega sassy blog hop, then please start at the beginning here: Freshly Brewed Challenges.

The Fresh Brewed Designs Team and Guests have put together an exciting and oh so HOT  blog hop TODAY and ALL THIS WEEKEND featuring handmade cards inspired by our new released Rubber Stamps. Now you may be thinking, I have seen these before. Why, yes! Yes you have!!!  But not like this!!! They have all been carefully  re-sized. They are approximately 1/2 inch smaller than the original stamp, but just as sassy and hot as ever!  For you, this means that more of your card will be visible so you can add your layers, embellies, use your nesties and all of that other fun stuff just a bit easier than before. The larger size is still available and still wonderful ... but now you have the option to choose which size works best for your stamping style!
All re-sized stamps are available cling mounted on 1/8 inch cling foam to use with your acrylic blocks or un-mounted. All of Fresh Brewed Designs stamps are made in the USA with deeply etched red rubber so you get a perfect impression every time!

For my card I chose to create with Caution: Contents are Hot.

Paper: Bazzil and Echo Park's Springtime
Sentiment: Pink By Design, You are
Twine, ribbon and buttons from my stash

Lemon Squeezy

I created the card for Paper Smooches inspiration challenge, picture below.  Since I don't own any of their fruit or food stamps, I searched their free digital images.  I liked the berries but I thought I could make lemons out of the Easter eggs.  I used the leaves from the berries and freckled the lemons.  I stamped the sentiment with the Alpha Dot set.
I think we are ready to make some lemonade!
