I need just a handful of New Year cards completed ASAP. Here's one using my latest bingo card.
Paper is by Colorbok, English Moss collection. The image is from Fresh Brewed Designs; looks like she danced her night away to some serious bachata! She's only two bucks and change right now and comes with a sentiment.
I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas!Over at PCW, we were asked to share one of our favorite projects of the year. Here's one of my favorite using the Cinco de Mayo bear created especially for Dulce. Originally shared on May 5th on this post. Once again, thank you Melin!
Of course there's still time to treat yourself to a little Merry....Purple Cows is offering $5 shipping, no minimum order, plus you can still use your 20% off coupon.

It's almost Christmas!! Poinsettias and Christmas florals are the focus of day 21 of the 25 Days of Christmas Crafting Fun at Cooking with Cricut. I altered a gift bag using white silk poinsettias I've had for two years. I removed the stems and inners; replaced the inners with bling. My gift bag is bilingual. LOL!
I had time to play with some new goodies today. The stamp set from Bug Bites, "All Year Round". Their stamp sets are $12 including shipping. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam, "Ice Blue". Both have excellent customer service, I had my goodies in no time! Thank you Barb and Julie! =)
It's Day 18 and we are focusing on the Nativity and Angels Rejoicing the Good News. I created the "Greatest Gift of All" nativity scene for my sister. I used the newest Nativity cut file; added swirly pearls, silver Stickles to the star. The title cut file is my own.
Up next is a card using the Angel Bear digi. The stamp is by Scrappy Cat; all paper from Recollections. Please stop by Cooking with Cricut and check out the DT's beautiful creations.
Here's my sister's gift all wrapped up and tagged! The wrapping paper is scrapbook paper; the tag is a cut from Gypsy Wanderings; I stamped the background with Inkadinkadoo stamps; the skating cutie is a rubber stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs.
I'm entering the tag to Cardz TV Challenge # 98, create two tags, Ok I didn't read the rules until now. LOL I will get working on my second tag. Update: I got my second tag done!
I'm also entering it to Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge # 76.
Here's my sister's second gift, lucky gal! Again, I used scrapbook paper as gift wrap; the snowflake is a cut from the Christmas cartridge; I used the hide/countour feature on my Gypsy so I can stamp the sentiment in the center. The sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo set.
Welcome to Day 14 of the 25 Days of Christmas and Cooking With Cricut Challenge Day! --Holiday cards, gifts and tags. easy last minute ideas. I used scrapbook paper to wrap up my MIL gift; the tag is the Sleigh from Trim a Tree cartridge and the ribbon is from Michael's dollar bin, I wish I would have stocked up on it. Please stop by and check out the DT's creations.
First up is the Santa with reindeer digi. The card is one of the smallest ones I've created; measures 3.5"x4". Can't really tell in the pic, but I added Stickles to Santa's fur trim and finished up with red twine.
Up next is a combination of two cut files; Santa going down the Chimney and the Gingerbread House 09. The card measures 5.5"x4.5". The "ho ho ho" is a dollar stamp by Mary Engelbreit. The paper is from the Recollections Xmas stack, surprisingly, I've used it for most of Christmas projects this year. Yes!! I also finished up the card with some twine. Santa looks kinda worried, he ate one too many slices of pumpkin pie!
AND my last project is a wall decor for one of my sisters; the frame measures 10"x10". Can't see it on the pic, but I added Stickles to Santa's trim. I also used gold foil paper to get the sleigh. I love Melin's files and I think this is my favorite "favorite"! So for the small details: Did you see his glasses!? Cute, they are sittin' on th edge of his nose. I used velum to mimic the glass. I also added tiny itty bitty button brads to his suit; they are by Recollections. The organza with velvet center ribbon is one of my favorite ribbons. I think I may have to make another trip to Hobby Lobby. The "Merry Christmas" stamp is a year-end 'thank you gift' from the Stamps of Life.
